Re: Battlefield 3
I usually like the M320 better, but the assignments reminded me how useful health packs are. Ironically they both are great on the same levels...those narrow pathway levels like Metro and the tunnel on Damavand Peak and the hallway at grand bazaar. Those are all great places to use the health packs and the grenade launcher. I think defense warrants the grenade launcher, and offense you need the health packs....it always depends thoughComment

That USAS sure does piss me off.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
The grenades just don't do enough damage to justify carrying them. They're great for blowing down a wall but they don't kill unless you're really precise with them.Comment

I noticed last night that there were assignments listed after the match was over. Those like challenges?Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Has anyone else had this problem. Just fired up a game and went online. However, I can't do anything. I can't see or fire my gun, all I see is the reticle. When I go to My Soldier I can't see the dog tags. The tank I was driving didn't make any sounds. Any idea as to what is going on?Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I also use the grenade launcher and I LOVE it. I switched back to Health Kits in order to unlock the FAMAS and I just missed the grenades so much. They are so useful to knock people out of buildings (Seine crossing especially), or entryways. You can shoot them at the ceilings above where people are and the "splash" effect will kill people, or you can shoot them next to building corners when you know someone is hiding there, you don't have to get headshots with your grenades, lol. I can't count the # of times I have engaged with someone and then they hide behind something and I switch over to grenade launcher and shoot near where they are hiding and they die. Plus grenades are better for long range kills when people are in buildings or enclosed areas. I like the health kits and in certain situations they are valuable, but for the way i play the grenade laucher is more useful. Unfortunately I'm not as patient as I should be and I tend to take a lot of risks running out into fire, so the med kits option is not as good for me. Maybe I should change the way I play, but I know I won't.PSN: Koolie_G

Re: Battlefield 3
I busted the myth of the CITV.
Engineers with a Javelin can use the target designation. On Wake island I was in the CITV, my brother was next to me with a javelin. I lased the chopper and he fired his javelin. No more chopper.
We had control of the air from the ground the entire match.Comment
