What are the requirements to play with you guys? I can hardly stand Conquest with randoms who do not capture flags!

Send me a friend request, that is all that I require. It's definitely more fun to play with guys on your list, rather than randoms. I will be on a lot Thursday and Friday because I have my Christmas shopping done and the wife will be gone. Plus no work on Friday.

I have been contemplating hanging up the support class and my M249 (love this gun) and moving on to another class. I think engineer is my next stop. What is the gun of choice in this class?

I prefer the M4 and the G36. The MP5 (I think they call it the SG53?) from Back to Karkand is also good.

The engineer class is definitely my favorite class. I'm on my way to engineer service star 3 and have yet to unlock everything on the other classes. You will not go wrong with any gun. The defaults are already absolutely amazing. You have the a91 g36 sg553 hk53 I honestly can't stick to one gun anymore. I used to use the a91 a ton as it's one of the earlier guns you unlock, but I started to give other guns a chance and they are all just as good.


By the way tdiddy are you on ps3? I can pilot the chopper for you. I know the whole map layout and where they spawn so it'll be cake.

I just had a fun game on the Canals sitting on top of that warehouse to the right of the first two M-Coms. I racked up spots and kills on top of that thing with almost zero resistance for whatever reason. Occasionally one guy would shoot at me but they didn't seem to care too much about me being up there and mowing them down with the M249.

I agree with others when they say the Engineer class definitely gets the best limited-use weapons, but I'm also partial to the F2000 and the FAMAS under assault, and assault is probably the class where I score the highest. For whatever reason I prefer the healing and reviving aspects of teamplay.

Still I have the most kills currently with the A-91 and some of my highest accuracy with that gun, but I spread the wealth out quite a bit--ten service stars and close in another three weapons. Comparatively that's probably not a lot but it just illustrates that I never really roll with the same weapon.

I need to do more recon though because I still haven't unlocked the SV98 haha.

Silencers/Suppressors (sp?) do you guys you them? I love them on some of my guns, lol when I start shooting a bad guy from distance and they dont know were the rounds are coming from they start to panic and get nervous .

CMorris...or anybody else who can answer...How much faster were you able to let off the guided shells when I was using the CITV? Or could you just give a quick run down on how it works on your end?

From what I gathered, I'd lock on to a target. That would be followed by you locking on after a few seconds and firing. When I first started using it, I assumed that as soon as I was locked in, you could take the shot. But after a while I picked up that wasn't the way it worked. So im just wondering how helpful the CITV was.

Regardless, we were doing work on the enemies' air craft that night. It was CMorris at the helm, JNes at the gunner seat, and myself on the CITV station. Doing...work.

It was like the perfect team. Had three sets of eyes and two guys can hop out to kill any sneaky C4 dudes. Also if I hopped out to do repairs or take a pot shot at another tank, JNes was right there to revive me.

There were times where I would be cracking up because JNes would be doing something outside the tank. CMorris would peel off sometimes to avoid fire, catch an enemy, or whatever and I'd hear JNes hollering "CMorris! CMorris!" as he's hauling *** trying to catch up to the tank. Lol

There was a couple times that I'd be outside the tank too, a little bit aways. I'd hear JNes calling for CMorris to wait for him and then look around to see a tank enter my screen, zooming by from the right and then shortly after JNes entering my screen in hot pursuit right behind.

I don't think it was any faster. You pretty much described it exactly how it works. Doesn't seem too useful against ground vehicles (in my limited experience with it, anyway) but it is really helpful against choppers. Like that round on Canals... they had trouble just getting to land.

Yeah. Me and my roommate were dying over here watching us take them out left and right.

It was especially hilarious when they tried to deploy flares to no avail. I know they had to be sitting there thinking "WTF Dude?"

Just realized the power of the CITV against choppers last night!! WOW. I was driving my tank with another guy spotting and those littlebirds on Canals never had a chance.

I may give the L96 a try for recon as I hear it does not have nearly as much drop as the SV98. I was decent using the SV98 after adjusting to when it starts dropping, but I hope the L96 lives up to the hype.

By the way, I think the C4 is bugged. You can still detonate it after you died and respawned. I just wanted to give it a try after being killed placing C4 on an LAV. I'm not sure if they caught that and is to be fixed in a future patch.

If so, I don't see how that is fair. There's no risk of trying to run up to a vehicle to place c4 then. It's not like you can blow them up yourself after you killed the guy placing them. It's taking the vehicle down with it.

I use them almost exclusively.

My favorite gun is still the AEK-971 w/ Silencer and Foregrip..
