Everyone is always stating the USAS with Frags take 4 shots to kill... Therefore it is not overpowered. Problem is it shoots those 4 shots in a second. It has 11 rounds and it's a quickie to reload. Hardcore is even worse. They can have a few people sitting in a spot and just repeatedly keep shooting a chokehold point. You die basically within the first or second shot even if it doesn't make contact with you, but the wall. They don't even have to see you coming. They just know since it's one of the few ways into an area, the rest of the team guards one, and the USAS boys guards another. It's more noticeable on Operation Metro at point B. The USAS can guard the steps and the front escalators easily while a few can guard the back. The other 6-7 players are free to guard whatever they want. A lot of people try saying if USAS is overpowered and should be nerfed, so should RPG's and grenade launchers. Definitely not true at all. You can't shoot those guns like a spaz repeatedly at all and they do take some time to reload between each shot.

I don't know if I can make the clan matches. I am usually on too late.

I'll try to jump on tonight a little earlier than usually if everyone is playing.

I have been running into something weird lately. I don't know if its lag or what but there are times where I can shoot an entire clip at an enemy that is not looking at me, maybe 5 meters or less away and I get no registered hit marker. I am not that bad of a shot and my cross hair is pointing directly at the chest. The clip unloading usually allows the enemy to turn around and kill me. After I respawn the hit detection is back to normal.

It don't matter to me really how late because some matches will be arranged late anyways and if we get some more west coasters on the team then you guys could run the late matches. Its only a Squad rush(4 ppl) format so it wont be much of a problem how late you get on. I'm pretty sure we can get three other that are willing to stay up.

Anyone else down for GameBattles for the PS3 users? We need some west coast soldiers for late games and in general. We got 8 guys officially signed up, just waiting on AuChase to resolve his account issue and Incredible, I think needs to accept the invite(but im not sure why but it says Incredible is ineligible)

Yes you can kill yourself with the USAS + frags

We got 8 guys officially signed up, just waiting on AuChase to resolve his account issue and Incredible, I think needs to accept the invite(but im not sure why but it says Incredible is ineligible)

I accepted the invite. Does it still show me as ineligible? Not sure why it would.

Haha I thought people were in there, and we had like 4 guys just standing in the doorway so I pictured something like Leroy Jenkins meets Rambo meets sprinkler

In the last match on Strike at Kirkland, I swear the other team was either camping on rooftops or using the USAS. I tried switching to mines but it was a lost cause

I was chilling trying to sneak and get a peek around the corner.

Then I see you come rush in from behind me, into the open, start spraying, do about 3.5 circles, and then crossbones.

I was laughing at that for a minute man. I still laugh at now when I think about it. It was so damn funny from my perspective man. lol

I think the USAS is fine, its the frags splash damage that makes it ridiculous. The USAS is my favorite gun, I admit that however the Frags ammo need to be removed or toned way down. I just love picking engineer, blowing hole in building that you know people are in, run through hole with USAS Buckshot and killing fools. Lol.

I've been noticing less people using it recently. Seems like we have some really honorable people that play BF on PS3. There was a time where it seemed like every match at least every person that had it unlocked were using it.

But its easily the most overpowered gun in the game. It has the range of a rifle, with the power of a shotgun. Then it has a pretty decent firing speed. As in, you don't have to "pump" after every shot.

On top of that, you don't even have to be accurate with it. Just shoot in the general area and it will do damage. You know a guy is hiding behind a wall? Shoot at the wall and you'll kill him. There are so many times where I see a guy trying to shoot at me. And because the rounds are so large, I can clearly see he's not even coming close but I still end up being killed.

The gun is just plain cheap. My k/d ratio shot up when I used that thing. Lol

The gun its self isnt cheap IMO. Like I said above its the Frags ammo. Makes it like a rapid fire missile launcher.


BTW guys, I was playing on my friends account and one of his friends joined me. Well I was using the MAV for the first time and the guy I was playing with said bring that over here towards me. He proceeded to jump on top of it and snipe people in mid air as I was moving it. I was LMAO. I didnt know you could do that.
