Just for PC. PS3/360 will be getting maintenance on the servers tomorrow, so hopefully the empty DICE servers work now.

Koolie and Nuni, thanks again for helping me score so well last night, in particular on our final round at Tehran. That was awesome! I got three new ribbons in that round alone.

We ALMOST had 'em against the odds at Firestorm!!! Damn....the last mcom in that building where all the craziness was and their whole team was in there against just a few of us, and the we had armed the final mcom and it was blaring, I was launching smokes, bullets everywhere, I got a double kill taking out guys at the mcom trying to turn it off, sighted up the last dude and I got taken out and they shut it down, we lose. That would have been an amazing win.

PC already got it, and apparently the only change to the USAS with frags is that it is much less accurate and the spread is increased. But no reduced fire rate. But then again, the guy who posted about it could be lying. Also he said that the IRNV is buffed but not as much as it was before it was nerfed. He also said that the FAMAS has a ton of recoil now

EDIT: Last night, me and authentic had to have taken almost 15 dog tags combined. I know I got 5 and he had to get at least 8. We were just messing around with TDM and calling out our orders after we set our VOIP to team "Taking right flank!" "Enemy spotted!" "Tango down!" "Reloading!"

Also, I have such a love/hate relationship with LMGs. I love that they have a huge clip, and I can take out an entire squad if I flank them, but in a 1v1 with literally anything but a sniper rifle or a pistol I'm at a disadvantage.

In TDM after I got the F2000 service star I decided to start using support to work towards getting the LMG medal. First person I see I have the HOLO directly on his chest/neck area and fire in bursts. If I was still using the F2000, he would be dead already. But nope, the M240B is so terribly inaccurate that I die (he must have been a bad shooter since it took a while for him to drop me with an F2000 himself) and see that he had 75% health. WTF. Out of what, 50 bullets I fired directly at his chest, I only hit him with enough to do 25% damage? Sigh. LMG = bad for TDM

There's moments like that, and then there are moments when I'm doing a 1v1 at medium/long range and get a head shot on the first burst. WTF? And the of course there are the rambo moments where I go around a corner when I know there are multiple people and they are reloading and hipfire them all.

Ha, Paperboy got kill assists of like 75, 82, and 95 when I did that. I would be so angry

That rush match on Metro was really fun, despite the fact that we had no business losing. At one point, it was 8 on 2 and we actually went out of the tunnel and were killing them literally seconds after they spawn. But then their team filled up and made it even and they planted the MCOMS behind us, and at that point, our team seemed to just stop trying and they got every single MCOM after that pretty easily.

There was a situation where I notice 4 red dots in that area on the stairs on the right that are right next to the locker room. I notice that they killed the 2 guys on our team that were there so I thought I was going to be clever and plant a C4 at the bottom of the steps. They spotted me doing that and chased me up the stairs and right before they got me I detonated the C4 and killed all 4 of them. *insert Woody gif here*

Good games Dan. If the 4th member of our squad would have stopped sniping from 2 areas away, we probably would have gotten that last MCOM. I haven't seen the USAS as much, over the past few days, but I know it's still rampant. I still don't understand why they ever nerfed the scar.

I've finally found another engineer gun, that I like..

A-91 w/ suppressor, foregrip.

Since I am a support whore I can offer a few tips. I find the M249 to be more accurate then the M240B. Also your specialization needs to be suppression. Being that it can be inaccurate it will blur your opponents screen pretty quickly giving you extra time to get the kill. Also, instead of the extended mag I have been using the ammo that inflicts more damage. The mags are smaller but they pack more punch. Since you are carrying the resupplies you can supply yourself if you run out.

Also, in these clan battles each squad should have squad suppression. It is probably one of the most important to have because it is the most effective squad perk. Just my thoughts.

Had another BF3 first last night, on PS3...

A new match was about to start up, and a squeaky little kid was talking about hoping for more DLC and new guns . First kid I've heard in BF3 online...perhaps there's more kids playing than I know and they don't mic.

Shattered by 'big boy's FPS' image of BF3 forever. LOL

Since I am a support whore I can offer a few tips. I find the M249 to be more accurate then the M240B. Also your specialization needs to be suppression. Great post...but what high-damage rounds are you referring to? I have just about everything unlocked in support and M249 on 360 and don't think I've alternate rounds.

I usually use suppression for a perk. I don't have squad suppression unlocked yet on PS3.

Always great to see some love for support class.
