Haven't tried, but PSN will be down completely (can't even log in) starting tomorrow at 8 AM PST all the way until 10 PM PST. Before you could play during the maintenance, but not tomorrow

I am a one man wrecking crew on Canals. I went 18 and 5 hanging around the "maze" today. That TUGS is beastly. Lol

And...



I swear Im putting them in good spots, close to an objective, hidden from the enemy, and where my squad can flank the enemy all while not getting "stuck" from an opponents wall.

But nobody ever uses it.

I use them. I had that one really good map when we played. And I was very happy that I got 4 kills with land mines. I love land mines!

That gun is absolutely ridiculous. The other night when I was playing conquest on Caspian border the guy on the other team was using that gun to clear the trees by the Forest flag by shooting at them an knocking them down. Big huge trees being knocked over by a shotgun meanwhile the douchey gun they have mounted on the tanks needs like 3 shots to kill a person, way wrong!

I just stopped spawning on those because a lot of people that use them put them in the oddest places and I absolutely hate the spawn beacon that has you parachute down. By the time I land the game is over!

For the most part, I put it somewhere where I think you will just spawn on the beacon and not have to parachute down. I thought I did that one time on Firestorm JNes. I dont know what happened there. Lol

But sometimes it cant be helped if you want to spawn safely somewhere. But even if thats the case, more than likely, the beacon is going to be a faster mode of transportation than coming from the deployment. Even if you do parachute down.

For instance, last night I placed a beacon in a trailer on Canals at the maze. I spawned on it EVERY SINGLE TIME I died. Not once did it get destroyed. Not once did I get killed as soon as I spawned.

Jwilphl was on my squad. And I would watch him spawn all the way back to the deployment. And we were coming from the water! Why? Lol

Most of the time, I put it near the enemies objective. Usually nobody is hanging out over there. And that allows you to take that objective and sneak up behind the opposing team on the smaller maps like Bazaar and Metro.

You can even look on the map to see where the beacon is before deciding to spawn on it. It shows you exactly where it is.

I remember I was playing with my roommate who SUCKS. Never played a shooter before in his life. I placed a beacon for our squad and he kept spawning off of it the entire round...he ended up having the highest score and the most kills in the round on both sides. He was like "Man! That beacon helped!" Every round after that he kept asking, "Hey TMagic. Can you put one of those beacon thingies down?" And I kept having to tell him, "No. I'm not recon right now."

And plus, it cant be any less safe than spawning off of a teammate. I feel like that accounts for at least a 1/4 of my deaths. Lol
