M98B. lowest bullet drop at range due to the caliber. Downside is long bolt action (maybe the longest of all the bolt actions) unless you run with the quick bolt attachment instead if a bipod.

I'm more partial to the L96. I just like the feel of it more, as it does wonders for me.

I don't snipe at all, but my friend prefers the L96 over any other sniper. He's got about 5000 kills with it and it's his top weapon.

A lot of recon swear by the L96. It wouldn't surprise me if it was the most used sniper rifle of them all.

I hate when I finally find a decent server only to get kicked or banned because I PTFO!? I'm capping flags all while having a negative K/D ratio, but because the admins are spending the whole match in helicopters and jets doing nothing but destroying the entire map because they can't hit squat, then decide to look at my score I get booted? Get the black and white 'you can't connect to server' box and I'm like what the hell? I'm not even good LOL

That was fun shaking off the rust last night. When I first came upon a guy about 50 yards away normally I can fire dead on him with no trouble. But woah, not when I first played it again...

Last night I looked like a damn fool, shooting literally everything around the guy with maybe one hit marker on him.

Luckily it didn't take too many scenarios like that to get back to how I usually shoot. Glad to be playing this again.

L96 is my favorite sniper rifle but I don't go Recon too much.

I like Recon in that I am most of the time a liability in close quarter situations. At least on recon I can help my team by spotting enemy opponents. I'm beast @ that!

JNG has slightly less bullet drop than the L96 but for some reason everyone prefers the L96. Not sure why.
