I'm so mad at myself for never getting into this game. I know if I picked it up now that i'd be so far behind the 8 ball that I might as well wait for BF4 at this point.

      I don't think so.

Just pick it up and play. There's a learning curve, but that's part of the fun.

You're looking at at least 6 or 7 months until a fall release of BF4.

If I did pick it up, and went the route of buying it used, would I need to purchase an online pass separately?

I have an extra online pass if you get a used copy. If you want it.

You would need the online pass, but it looks like Stevie can hook you up.

We mostly play on the original maps anyways.

I feel you. I've been killed mid flight in a Havoc and switched to the other team because they couldn't shoot me down, which is sad because I'm not some expert pilot.

Same server got kicked for shooting a server admin with an m320. He was camping the third floor at C on Siene. It was the most logical thing to do. I got a double kill and destroyed the spawn becon he just put down and then I suddenly got kicked.

assault kit(medic) with the m416 is a pretty safe bet to start with. the gun has minimal recoil and has solid power to drop people.

It's better to aim down your sights first before you shoot. If they're up in your face though, I prefer to just blindfire. I've been told not to do this, but it has worked for me in just about every shooter to date.

Also, there isn't really a recommended class to start with. It all depends on the game type and situation. You may want to be playing as engineer or support on a vehicle heavy map whereas assault is probably the way to go on infantry maps like Operation Metro.

Had a lot of fun playing with you, Chizzy, and Peoppe. Wish we would all play more often. Battlefield is just not the same when you play solo.

Started to use the LSAT and I like how it controls, that might be my new support gun. I'm sure I'm just going to find a new gun to use next week though.

I intended to play some on the PS3, but I forgot I let a friend borrow it a few days ago. I still hopped on the 360 and got some good games in with TMagic, Koolie, Blast, and Nuni.
