For me UFC 2010 is at the top of that list.

I don't think anybody expected Naughty Bear and Sniper Ghost Warrior to be a mega hit though. UFC 2010 IMO is the number one flop of the year, because they advertised that game 24/7.
Kind of funny I played it the other day and their servers STILL don't work right.Comment

Blur for me is really two games. You have the single player which is really nothing special. But then you have the online multiplayer which I've found myself playing those long "where did all the hours go" sessions on many occasions. Heck, I think I'm going to go play me some Blur right now.Comment

So was UFC10 really that bad or did it just sell poorly? I have the first UFC game and only bring it out when i have some buddies over for a quick brawl but wasn't sure if it was worth trading in for the new version.Comment

Yeah the only good thing UFC 2010 got going for it is it's huge roster. Online still don't work, camps don't work because once again online don't work. They completely messed up submissions, the clinch game....heck forget it........
Just stick with 09, too many problems to list.Comment

Yea UFC 10 is by far the biggest flop of the year. Not to many games straight up ruin a great previous game. I am not talking, small down grade either. UFC 10 is flat out garbage.

+1 here. The game continues to collect dust on my shelf. I bought it release day and maybe have played it about 2 hours total. I guess I keep hoping that there will be another patch that will fix everything

What about Final Fantasy XIII? I know it sold a ton right off the bat, but if I remember right, I think it was out of the top 20 (!) within a month or two of release. Yikes. Talk about sales falling off a cliff....
Even though total sales were big (being multi-platform helps), the game just didn't have an impact on the gaming world at all in my opinion - especially for a name franchise of videogame royalty. I mean, I completely forgot that game even came out this year!
Red Dead has been, in my opinion, the alpha and omega of gaming this year...I knew since last November, when I first saw pics, that the game was gonna own me. It has. Not since "Grand Theft Auto III" have I spent this much time in a non-sports game. Best game I've played in years...Comment

FF 13 sold a ton......even sold a ton of 360 Elites too. I know my sister bought that 360 Elite bundle when she seen FF 13 on it.Comment
