re: Saints Row: The Third
Retiring for the night, but now I've logged 20 hours into this game, and have only done 26 main missions lol.
Like RDR, this game has a tendency of pulling up a side conquest just as you're about to save your game, so you end up playing for like another half hour lol. It's like it knows if you're by a hideout or something. (For the record, I know you can save this game at any time unlike GTA/RDR, but I like to try and get to my main hideout in the city if I can, just for the heck of it.)
This game is just way too much fun, and has such a great reward/ranking system along with it that keeps your coming back for more. Some of the audio gets a little repetitive, but I'm still laughing at it. Oleg is this game's greatest asset!
Right after I saved to finish off tonight's session, I just decided to recruit three chicks from my penthouse and jump off the top, parachuting right at the very end. I wanted to see if they would follow. After landing, I looked up, trying to figure out what was going on. Suddenly, I saw three bodies fly off the rooftop and crash down to the ground, all needing revival instantly. Guess they don't all have parachutes.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I want to do some co op...seems like it would be fun....
I'm not a FPS guy, so this is as close as I'll get to playing a "shooter" online.....just shows how fun the game is, lol
What a great couple of months of gaming....BAC, WWE 12, Saints Row, UMVC3= my lifeComment

Is the co-op mode the same as the single player campaign mode?#RespectTheCultureComment

Same exact thing. Actually, when I was playing with DEFTFUNDAMENTALZ, I was wondering if he saw my character in his cut scenes or his.
The other thing I don't know is if we share money/ammo/upgrades or not, but I think it's all individual from whatever your guy has when you load your game. I'll know next time to try this with DEFT or 42 or somebody, so we can progress each other's story progression if we wanted to. Only DEFT needs a mic!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Just beat it. Not really a fan of how it all ended. Seemed kinda random? The story was actually pretty weak in retrospect.
Still a fun *** game though.Comment

Finally managed to put down Skyrim to place this and I'm having fun. The absurdity of what happens in this game is just so awesome. Also, I enjoyed the Terminator reference.Comment

SpoilerWhile skydiving, did you catch Shaundi? Or was I the only one doing that?

re: Saints Row: The Third
Is this game worth buying? I still have about 48$ left from trading all my 360 stuff in and don't have anything to buy really until The Show comes out. It's not on any Black Friday deals at all is it?Comment

re: Saints Row: The Third
Depends on who you ask. I've already clocked 22 hours into this game, and if I were to put a percentage on how much I've completed of it, I'd say I'm around 40% finished. There's just way too much to do, and none of it seems like a chore (but flying missions are less compelling because the controls aren't that great, though that's my personal opinion).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

re: Saints Row: The Third
I'm only about 3 missions deep yet I was still able to find a helicopter last night which was cool.
Anyways, I got to the top of the highest building and was about to parachute off, but instead I decided to try and a take a picture of myself on the edge of it. I ended up trying to get too good of a shot and fell off the edge, splattering myself on the side of the building.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick.
