re: Saints Row: The Third
Experienced a glitch earlier today on the PS3. I couldn't grab anyone. I would hit the triangle button and nothing would happen. I know it's not my controller because I was able to do other actions with the triangle button like get in a vehicle.
I read online that other people loaded the game again and the glitch went away. I'll try that later. Still having a blast with this game. I spend a lot of time at the airport just flying around.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Yea I've encountered a similar glitch where I wouldn't be able to do the running attacks. I couldn't hit running clotheslines or that tornado DDT looking move until I reloaded the game.#HeatNation

re: Saints Row: The Third
Went through the other ending. I feel both are good, but the one I chose the first time was better.
SpoilerI saved Shaundi the first time. Still feel like keeping the original Saints crew together is a better ending, plus the movie scene shot on Mars is awesome.
I like some aspects of the other ending. The lead up the the Killbane fight with you helping Angel and then rocketing everything in sight with Holding Out for a Hero playing in the background was awesome. The Killbane fight was pretty underwhelming, but eliminating Stag and essentially creating Steelport into its own country is hilarious.
My end game now is some weird mix of the 2 endings, where Shaundi and Viola (who cares?) are still alive, but the statue is blown up.
Got enough respect as to where I can get the perk to take no bullet damage, so time to just drive around with Burt Reynolds and cause some mayhem.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Just played the http://deckers.die/ mission.
This game is ****ing awesome.
Can't decide if I like that mission more, the Zimos mission with exploding rickshaws, or the fact that they play "Power" on that early mission where you set up your Saints HQ.

SpoilerI also preferred to keep Shaundi, Burt Reynolds, and Viola alive. However, I feel like the other ending actually fits the tone of the end of the game more. Both final missions were awesome though (STAG Film and the Movie) Burt Reynolds is also the greatest mayor ever.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

re: Saints Row: The Third
Genki Bowl will be out soon.
They've noted if you have the season pass to download from IN GAME and not your systems store.
Also someone released an awesome mod for gangs where you can pick pretty much anyone to show up as a random gang member.Last edited by goh; 01-09-2012, 02:05 AM.Comment

I didn't get too deep into this because of other games, so I'm trying to get back into it.
Just to make sure, missions to progress the story are all done through the phone, right?Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Yes, you are correct. Unless its a "wave" mini-game, all activities are located in the city.

re: Saints Row: The Third
Got this for Xmas, so far, find the game very average thanks to mission design.
It's funny, has a pretty decent story and love the atmosphere with music leading in missions. But right now I'm in the 2nd act and all I'm doing are freaking escort side missions. Can't even get the story to move along. Done like 5-6 in a row and pretty tired of it.
I don't even know if I'll bother to continue at this point or just sell the game. But sick of driving around people for drug deals, following cars from a helicopter or picking up hookers.Comment

I got this the first day it was out and played it for about the first week or two, but eventually other games ended up taking over my playing time and this got tossed aside until recently. Now that I'm actually trying to get into the story missions, I'm starting to see the weaknesses in the game. Having to use the cell phone setup to go about story missions and then those missions essentially being the activities that are supposed to be side missions is really disappointing.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Yeah. I'd rather have a man date with Roman than this set up.

re: Saints Row: The Third
Once you get past the missions that set-up the side missions (ie: the side character missions), the story missions become a lot better.

re: Saints Row: The Third
Okay, good to know. I'm currently on the missions with Pierce and I just finished the Professor Genki game show mission. I was wondering what happened to the missions like the one that starts off the game and when you get your second safehouse.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches.
