I know I couldn't get it to launch at first. I think I downloaded some .net framework or direct x download while trying to get Arkham City to run, and it fixed Infinite as well.

Game installed and played great so far!
Love the look and I can see I'll be having a blast. Need to run a few errands now but can't wait to resume it.

Ah okay. For the most part whenever I install a game on Steam, Steam installs whatever additional software that the game needs to run automatically. The only time I've had a problem like that was with an old shooter, Infernal (don't think it's even in the store anymore) that needed a specific, old Nvidea driver to run.

But when you finally got Infinite running, did you have an issues with how it looked and played?

Yeah, it'd hang up after that "Installing DirectX" prompt you get the first time you run a game, and it would come up every time I clicked play. I don't know how much of my issues were because I was trying to get the games running on a PC I had just finished putting together.

                Yeah... the game is awesome.
I started on hard. Hope that wasn't a mistake but so far so good.

I started on hard also, eventually after dying hundreds of deaths and losing money each time I was like screw this! I may have finished 60% of the game on hard before I finally made the switch. I was losing WAY too much money and just got frustrated in general with hard

There have been a lot of complaints about huge FPS drops, regardless of how powerful the PC is. It's especially present when entering new areas. I would be consistently running at 60fps, and then randomly, and more frequently the deeper I got into the game, it would start dropping to 15, 20, etc.

                      I haven't seen that yet.

I just started this game Sunday and have logged about 5 or 6 hours so far. LOVED the first Bioshock and really liking this as well. The world is amazing and I've having fun just searching as much as I can. The story is very interesting as well and I like the little booths that tell little pieces of what is going on here and there.

For those that plan on getting DLC or have the season pass, our first glimpse is coming in late July.

I've been in a gaming rut; I really need to play through this again. Maybe the DLC will help.

What kind of things would we expect the DLC to include? New weapons? Missions? I'm not familiar with how it all works for games like this.

I believe it will be some sort of side-story to the main story in the game on the disc.

                                Just a guess though.
