I trust them enough to make it less annoying.

Honestly I don't even remember it bothering me all that much when I first went through GTA IV.

It really wasn't that big of a deal and if you didn't want to be bothered, you could turn it off completely.

Yeah I think it was more for the 100% guys out there that were required to make all companions happy. It was extremely annoying and frustrating.

Knowing Rockstar they're going to make fun of how annoying having people call and beg to go bowling or whatever was somehow.

If this game is anything like Red Dead Redemption, but with cars and scuba diving, it'll be one of the greatest games of all time.

I agree...I actually think that Red Dead, even after only 1 game, has surpassed GTA as the best Rockstar franchise. I absolutely can't wait until the next one comes out (although at this point it's likely to be next-gen unless there's a huge surprise in the next 6 months), although I guess GTA V will have to tide me over to the next Red Dead....

Actually that's the second red dead game, but yeah you guys can all consider this a useless bump.

I hope gta v doesn't get delayed even further, the hype is killing my interest in any other game!

May be a long wait...not to mention it's likely not going to be optimized for the hardware. Assuming you have 360/ps3, holding out will not be very beneficial.

I didn't even know that the cellphone angered people, and in this thread I see all out rage for it lol. Was a decent enough feature to me.

It didn't send me into a fury or anything, but it was kind of annoying getting random calls from all your "friends" wanting to hang out when they're the only people you really spend time with during the game anyway.

It just seemed like a funny side-feature.
