I've done free roam (or whatever it's called without actually doing missions) in IV so much that I never finished the game. The way V looks, I may never even get close to finishing it. I'll wander around (if it's possible) for months... so much things to do...

Same here I have all 3 versions of GTA IV and I will play like 3 or 4 missions then say F it and free roam the rest of the time

We need to find a civilized way to do a PS3 and 360 vote that doesn't clutter the thread too bad. I can't decide which console to get it for and which of my OS friends will be playing on what.

Rockstar Games has confirmed that the Grand Theft Auto V gameplay trailer released yesterday used captured footage from the PlayStation 3 version of the game.


“Just to clarify for those asking, this particular video was captured with footage from the PS3 version of the game,” the developer said. Yesterday’s trailer featured weapon and vehicle customization, flying, heists, and even offered a sneak peek at Grand Theft Auto Online.
Grand Theft Auto V is set to release September 17 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

For 360 you can get free 1600 MS points if you preorder from the Microsoft Store online. May be available in store, but they have few locations.
