Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Yeah. I would have rather had paid DLC at this point with all the crap I've gone through to raise money in game. There is no way anyone can afford the stuff they are adding without a shark card (which are ridiculously over priced, the gold plane costs $125 of real money) or cheating the game. It's disappointing to me with the state of what they have done to the game and what they have caused people to do to raise money. Saw a guy earlier on a stream with 76 billion dollars. He didn't earn a dime of that lol

Just get some friends together and do some of the heists, problem solved....it doesn't take alot of time, just getting folks rounded up.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

I haven't spent a dime of real money on this game and don't plan to,if there's something I want bad enough I'll either do heists, throw in some jobs or either do without....while getting some of the new stuff or all of it would be cool,I haven't seen (so far) anything I can't do without.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
How much can be accomplished (and by how many) if you played this as new players in a LAN environment?
I think we'd get more out of buying Rainbow Six personally if people buy any games at this price but it's one of the games we're considering.

I don't know bro....it just makes me prioritize what I want....like I thought I'd never get rid of my t-20,but now that it's gone I don't miss it at all.

I mean the pricing. It keeps going up. There's nothing other than stuff you can add to your apartment that any of us can afford in this new DLC. I will be shocked if I'm wrong based on how each DLC has progressively got more expensive.

Grand Theft Auto V
It's not that easy for some people and heists do take a lot of time. Especially when you factor in you have to do them over and over to raise the funds. I played this game pretty consistently with 4 others but we have all pretty much stopped because of the ridiculous pricing on this new stuff. I would also rather have had pay dlc. Rockstar has got incredibly greedy with the shark cards. I just pray they don't go this route with red dead 2.
One of the people in our crew just had a kid so heists are pretty much impossible to do. He has to take random breaks too much to get through one. Another one started working 3rd shift. It's not easy for us all to get on at the same time.Last edited by ricky24; 12-10-2015, 07:14 PM.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
You don't HAVE to pay real money for shark cards... You can just choose to.
I'm sitting on $350,000, which isn't a lot, but I have to do the last two heists which, depending on what they pay (is it always the same?), could net me close to $750,000 or so. I hope these things aren't all like 1-2 Million or above, that would suck. I'm hoping $750,000-$1M is the range for these new thins but I'm prepared to be disappointed.Comment

Figure a couple million for the new cars and probably at least a million to fully upgrade your apartment.

Of course you don't have to. But if you can't play this game for 20 hours a week you do have to if you want any of the new items. That's why I'm not impressed with this free dlc. Sure the update is free but it's a straight up cash grab. Definitely prepare for disappointment. Cars go for 1 mill. Can't imagine was this boat is going to cost.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Finally made that jump from ps3 to Xbox One. Quickly realized I was broke as ish when I went inside Bennys & was asked to upgrade my vehicle with 400K before I could even put on any mods. I aint got that kind of money!!! Maybe they should let me fire my useless mechanic or put me in contact with criminals that pay above minimum wage.
Please Rockstar, if you have a heart, you will send all of us gamers free money on Christmas
Feel free to add me if you're on X1. I'll be playing heavy starting Sunday after The Division Alpha is done.Thee I Love

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
The heists aren't even really necessary. They're fun to do if you have a crew that will actually work together, but you can make the same kind of money from doing regular missions.
I got on for about an hour with a friend of mine yesterday and just ran through missions together (Martin, Simeon, etc.) and made about $100,000 in an hour.
I assume that the yacht will be way out of my price range, but I badly want to get one of the mansions/customize the interior. I'm sitting on about $300,000 right now (I'm guessing the mansions will be at least $1-2 million or something? Somewhere above the most expensive apartments anyways).NFL: Bills
