Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Damn fellas... I shouldn't have read thru this thread, really leaning toward picking this up again... Especially at $40, well less than that with Gamers Club.
Think I'm gonna trade some stuff in and grab this, along with a mic so I can join you fellas online.
I never finished the story or played online when I had it before... I suck at online games, just forewarning everyone.
Between this and FO4, I'll be good until The Show comes out.Last edited by The Kid 24; 12-22-2015, 02:22 PM.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Any tips for a GTA V noob? Fired up this bad boy the other night for the first time and my head was spinning. I didn't know what direction to go or what to do first. lol.
I log on, check out the forums and I see a lot of guys talking mostly about GTA Online. I'm not even sure where to start in the game moreless enough to hop online, lol. How does that whole thing work? Wondering if I'd be way too far behind online with people having been playing for a solid year now.
Thanks!A negative mind will never give you a positive life.

Certain things like weapons and car mods will only unlock at certain RP rankings. Survivals are a nice way to make $30,000 if you make it through all 10 waves.
We all started with nothing at one point. Just work and build it up. I am up close to $5MM now and a ranking of 108.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
First thing to do online is buy the free Elegy car so you can get around. Do missions to earn money and build RP. Buy weapons. When you get enough, buy an apartment with a 10 car garage. Online is all about making money to buy the finer things. Just earn money and save it for the more expensive things you will need later on.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I think max level is 9999. The highest I've seen is 8000, which I'm sure was accomplished by totally legitimate means.
As far as leveling, it goes up by regular intervals as you earn XP. You'll probably level up to at least 10-15 in your first session if you play for a few hours. Once you get to I think level 20 and you unlock the AP Pistol, and medium armor the game gets easier.
Also buy an Armoured Kuruma as soon as you can.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Don't even worry about the max lvl if you're just starting out because you aren't gonna reach it.
I've been playing GTAV online since it released and I think I'm only 158.
I've seen guys online, hundreds of levels above me, it's nuts.Comment
