Don't see how this makes sense: "What Afrika should have been".
I love Afrika and it's not a "Survival etc.. game.. It's simply a "Nature" take pictures etc.. type game. So I don't get that statement.

I'll keep my eye on this one .. We'll see...

Afrika should have been similar to the old Wolf and Lion games by Manley & Associates (became EA Seattle) where it was basically an animal sim.

Afrika was OK for what it was, but it would have been all around better if you were running around as a cheetah and flinging poo at stuff as a baboon.

When Afrika was first announced and shown, I wanted it to be a sim. A lot of people who saw those early images were hoping to play as the animals. Afrika would also have been much more popular.

Looks like a pretty fun/hilarious game. I'm intrigued.

Can't wait to be a a ****zu and attempt to attack a hippo. I can only hope hilarity ensues.

Tokyo Jungle coming to the West

Tokyo Jungle is one of those Japanese games you hear about, blink in astonishment, then shake your head, thinking it'll never be released in other countries. Playing as animals from a Pomeranian dog to an elephant, you fight for survival in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo overrun with creatures including deer, lions, chicks, crocodiles and, er, dinosaurs. And it's coming westward, E3 has revealed.

Now, Sony hasn't said much about Tokyo Jungle's western release--it was bafflingly absent from last night's media showcase--but quietly released an English fact sheet to confirm it.

I really dont know how to feel about this title. I would have to try it out and see the depth of it to see if it is for me or not. I would be willing to give it a shot.
