Re: Gary Grigsby's World at War
I loved it...I got a new computer years ago and lost the key and never emailed Matrix to get it resent to me because the game was an addiction. I spent way too much time playing it. I knew if I reinstalled it, I'd spend every night in front of the computer playing it. -

Not turn based, but played the heck out of Axis & Allies RTS, which was originally based on a board/turn based board game.Comment

Re: Gary Grigsby's World at War
Actually it is turn based. The world powers take turns. It ain't RTS, so it has to be TBS.
Can any of you guys give me some tips on how to play Western Allies. I suck at them, between winning in the Mediterranean, handling Japan and developing, I'm just overwhelmed. It also doesn't help that I am terrible at taking out German submarines. Any help would be nice
I've completely mastered Russia. Just focus on Infantry, Tank and Artillery attack ratings, and build mainly those units. A little bit of air support. Also use Vladistock for supplies, and keep a large defence at Lenningrad. Every time I've lost that city it just opens the flood gates. I can't handle Finland and Germany, even though it is generally the same front.Comment
