Played BC2 for about 5 months straight and never got sick of it. Just the amount of different things you can experience from game-to-game is amazing. Plus, with the Vietnam expansion coming out some time in the winter, I can see myself playing that game at least until KZ3/SOCOM 4 comes out.

When the expansion hits, I'll pick this back up and play.

There were times where we straight dominated all competition. And that's saying a lot about you guys coming from the weak link, lol.

Hey War Eagle, if you do decide to pick this back up let me know. I'd been debating picking BC2 up again but due to everyone on my friend's list getting rid of it I just never really had the serious urge.

The only real problem for me and FPS games is if they don't have alternate controls to turn with the left analog stick and strafe with the right (not the same as lefty controls, similar to Legacy controls on MW2), I just can't justify the purchase. I wish more games offered this alternate control scheme. It's how we grew up playing and it's how most 3rd person games are, so I'm just left befuddled.

And Killzone 2 is a stunning game visually, I just wish they could somehow lock 60 FPS on the title. Even KZ3 looks to be running at 30 FPS again.

These are the two places where MW2 will get my vote, which is kind of unfortunate because IMO there are better FPS games out there (especially in the single player campaign).

I stayed away from FPS games for years because I played a few games that wouldn't allow me to invert my y axis. I played a lot of flight simulators growing up(up means down and down means up) and I just felt goofey playing the opposite way. Well I finally just broke down and learned the new way. Not sure if was the best thing for my aim but i broke down and conformed

Now I am very surprised hearing about games that don't have this option. I would be the same way, this of all things would be a huge game killer. For me it's not about learning the other way (which is very difficult); like turning with the right analog stick, I don't feel it to be beneficial and for me to do with the controller what I want to do. The way it used to be was just fine and much more advantageous (and natural), I don't know why they had to change it up.

I have NEVER played a FPS that didn't allow for Y axis inversion. That's the only way I can play, and have played every first person shooter that way since 64. I've played almost every shooter out there... seriously, I can't think of a SINGLE one that didn't allow for inversion.

i can't remember what game it was but it was back in the day. It may have been that one crappy game but it turned me off to the genre. The first shooter I played since then was Uncharted and default settings were (up = up and down = down), i guess something made me think that this setup was the best way to go so I forced myself to relearn it.

I probably would be a better aimer if i had never switched.

My personal favorite was KZ2 but you cannot go wrong with Bad Company.

Some of the KZ2 games with OSers...freaking ****.

                      Agreed.

I love Bad Company 2. Haven't played Killzone. I liked Uncharted 2, but I'm a little scared to play it as my PS3 fan seems to go crazy when I play it.
