Press Your Luck
Anyone remember this show? It had the "big bucks, no whammies." I dl'd it off the playstation store and it's pretty fun, seems fairly deep for what the game is. There are unlcokable levels and your opponents get progressively harder plus trophies and the bit of online play I got to experience was pretty fun. If anyone was a fan of the show I'd recommend checking it out.Tags: None -

Re: Press Your Luck
I love it, but they made it a little too easy to play the big board. I'll spoiler tag it even though it should be obvious:
SpoilerAll too often the board shows no whammies on a slide set. Maybe I just have good hand-eye from so many video games, but I can usually identify that and stop on that whammy-free board before it changes again. Of course I'll have no idea what I stop on, and the dollar values tend to be pretty small on those boards, but with no risk of the whammy a lot of the strategy of the game is lost.
There were never entire board displays with no whammies in the real show - everyone would be a Michael Larsen if there was!

Is there a local multi-player option? I don't play online much, and would love to play it against my wife.MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins
NBA: Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic
NCAA: Penn State Nittany Lions, Boston College EaglesComment
