Well when compared to the TRU deal, why wait for the later offer when you can get games earlier? The only reason I could see is because there will be other games released down the road (especially this time of year). But then when this deal is narrowed down to just a few select games, none of which are the ones you were planning to buy as a result of this being a later deal, it's pretty much useless. You might as well do the TRU deal.

I agree, but what's on the BB list? I might have to look again, but I don't recall there being three substantial games on the list including those that are coming out this week. Or at least, that's how I took other people's posts. There were only two specific games I was looking for anyway and BB's list didn't seem to have it.

Yeah, this list isn't impressive to me...Fable 3 I want eventually, and maybe Smackdown, but not a bunch of "Must Owns". Star Wars TFU 2 isn't good, Shaun White sucks, MOH is ok i guess (too many shooters for me, so not a buy), etc.

The sports games are decent, but most gamers here will have all ready gotten them.

I'd do this in a heartbeat if I could add in EA MMA and something else with Fable 3. I'm still tempted to get Fable and Smackdown and then something else free, but there's nothing else I really want. Amazon usually has a B2G1 promotion in November, so I think I'll wait until I can get 3 games I actually want.

Fable 3, Sims 3, Rock Band 3, NBA2K11 and Castlevania are all A-list titles. And even if you don't find 3 on that list if you find at least 2 you could always do what I'm doing, I'm buying Sims 3 and Castlevania and selling Fable 3 to a friend for $60, which means I just paid $60 for two games, getting them for half price.

Or you could always buy games you want combined with games for gifts for Christmas. Either way I think it's a great deal. Maybe not the best since you can't just get any title you want but it's certainly not rubbish.

Fable 3, Sims 3, Rock Band 3, NBA2K11 and Castlevania are all A-list titles. I did the same thing with the TRU deal. I got ModNation Racers and Skate 3, and my friend got SC: Conviction. I only paid about $58 (that's with the tax), so that was nice.

I don't believe Rock Band 3 is on that list though. The OP doesn't seem to think it is.

And I never thought it was rubbish, but this isn't the only company which does a B2G1F deal and I believe TRU does it better (hell, they do it with PSN/Live cards and accessories as well).

Yeah...good points for sure. I'm just not really into Castlevania, have Sims 3 for PC, own NBA 2k11, and Rock Band I'm just tired of (tired of music games in general). I still may do it anyways, for Fable and Smackdown and then adding some other game for free, but I'd love it if I could pick whatever games I actually want.

Sorry about the Rock Band 3 thing, I could have sworn it was in there. As for me I'm getting Sims 3 as I love the Sims but don't like sitting for hours in my computer room in an office chair. I also want a game I can run in the 'background' like how the Sims is (for like when I'm multi-tasking).

I hear you about Rock Band 3, I'm intrigued by it but I don't know why, I have other music games I've hardly played. The Fable series is my favorite non-sports game series so I'm most excited about that than anything.

I know the TRU deal is better, but come on guys, the profit margins on these games are incredibly low for retailers. When you think about it, it's pretty amazing that anyone does this sort of deal. Complaining about the selection of games when they include many of the most popular games releasing is really just being pretty petty I think. But to each his own I suppose.

Had RB3 been included in that del, I would have bit. Then I would have gotten SW:TFU2 for my son, RB3 for us both, and Smackdown 2011 for myself. I'm not going to bother getting a 3rd game I don't want and go through the hassle of selling on Ebay or Amazon. The fees are getting to be too much to make a plan like that worthwhile.

Profit margins can't be too bad if they keep doing these kinds of deals. From the perspective of the consumer $60 is too much for 95% of the stuff they release today. Most sports games (wrestling included) are minor upgrades worth maybe $40.

I'm tempted on RB3 when the real guitar comes out...I'll have to read some reviews on how well it actually teaches you guitar. I have my own electric guitar but it's been slow teaching myself.

I ended up getting Fable 3 and Smackdown, with Castlevania free...Was gonna get the first 2 eventually anyways so why not get something decent free. I'd rather get EA Sports MMA free instead but not too shabby.

It looks like target is going to have this the week before black ops comes out. I'm reading mix reviews - some sites say it's Wii only, others say it's all games.

I went in and picked up SmackDown vs. Raw, Force Unleashed II and NBA 2k11 with this deal.

I also picked up Rock Band 3 and the wireless keyboard and got a $15 gift card back too.

I basically saved $75 today and that's well worth it to me.
