    Kinectimals

Disclaimer: I am starting a few threads about kinect games I am picking up next week. I plan on sharing what I have been able to find out about these games in hopes of starting a conversation to find out what others know about them that I have missed.

    Kinectimals.

My wife plays the crap out of petville so hopefully this will be enough of an upgrade to justify the purchase. Maybe it will even be a bit of a gateway drug to "Real" video games.

You pick between 5 great cat cubs and do pet things. The game appears to have gone through quite a few positive changes since what we were shown at the conventions. It is no longer just petting and tricks, they have added a bit of story and adventure. Who knows how the cute and "game" will balance out but at least they tried to expand beyond the cute. They also have a house that you can customize and fill with crap.

This games has merchandising, DLC, and itemization written all over it. I am sure the puppy pack DLC is there just waiting for release day. Burger King is going to have a kids meal toy thing where you can scan in the toy with the kinect for use in the game. The limited edition comes with a unique plush toy that you scan in with the kinect and adds a sixth choice for which pet you want. Luckily it is just $10 more and have definitely spent more than that on stuffed animals for my wife.
