Being a 360 owner. There is no way I can pass up a Metal Gear Solid Collection.

I'm geeked it's coming out for the 360 as well. I miss playing the MGS series. Can't wait to see the....----> !

I always got a chuckle out of it.

Sweet. I didn't even notice it is coming on the 360. Hopefully they will release MGS4 on the 360 at some point.

I didn't even find out until a few days ago. Treezy504(guy on youtube who reports on video game rumors and info) usually is pretty good about putting out legit info. He thought it was only for the PS3 until a few days ago.

Needless to say I was pretty geeked about it.

There are rumors of Ghost of Sparta also receiving the HD treatment, which would be great.

Yeah I just saw God of War Origins will have both PSP games on one Blu Ray Disc... I'm guessing the same way they have God of War Collection as one disc with God of War and God of War II... this is all types of WIN!

Sweet. I didn't even notice it is coming on the 360. Hopefully they will release MGS4 on the 360 at some point.

I don't think 4 will ever see the light of day on a 360 especially if he doesn't want to take out the mention of not having to switch disc... you're best bet atleast from what I've seen and heard is this HD Collection as well as Rising which if I remember correctly will be for both systems

I just want to replay Sons of Liberty and I'm good to go. The first MGS game I ever played so it holds a special place in my heart.

After hearing that the original MGS wasn't getting the HD treatment, I got the itch ... and purchased it off the Playstation Store. What ensued ... my entire Saturday disappeared.

Beat the game after playing virtually non stop, and realized why I called it my all time favorite game after I beat it the first time. What an incredible ride; I wish they could upgrade it with the other titles and give us the whole library. But I also can't wait for Peacemaker!

I've been hoping for a MGS collection since I beat MGS4 and realized I hadn't a clue of what was going on since I never got a chance to play MGS3. Really glad they are doing this, so I don't have to go back and buy a PS2 to play them all again.

This might be the worst MGS gameplay I've ever seen, but hey, it's Peace Walker in HD.

Buyer beware if you've never played PW: the mission select screen is not a demo-specific feature - every mission you play in the game is started like that. The whole game is made of individual missions instead of one large one. It's a format that's better suited to the PSP, and is going to seem odd when you play it on the PS3.

Of course there's a plot that ties them all together, though.

For me, the gem in this collection is MGS3 which in HD should be awesome. It's one of the best games I have ever played imo.

Metal Gear was released on the NES. Metal Gear 2 Soild Snake was released on the Japanese MSX, and then much later in the US along with MGS3:Subsistence.

The second NES game you're probably thinking of, "Snake's Revenge", is non-canon.

Ah thats right. Still, as a kid I thought those games were really creative.



Though I hated the 100+ letter continue code you had to write down after you were done playing...
