I got lucky, bighoff was running at me, so I shot at him but I think bcruise was chasing bighoff, so he entered the door right as I shot. i got lucky.

I was the guy in front. Bighoff ran in behind me (and was probably preparing to knife me - I didn't know he was there either).

Sticks & Stones in Nuketown.....I see a guy with a crossbow lining me up so I jump up in the air to dodge his crossbow, somehow knee cap him with my tomahawk and then his crossbow tip explodes to kill a guy that was about to kill me from behind.

Did you press record and then play, or did you go through it slowly with the R trigger? That could be why.

Nope, I clicked record then play, or possibly just record while it was playing, but I don't think that should have an effect on it.

But it was lagging too when I was watching it render, but when I watch it from the theater mode, it's super smooth. It also took about 6 hours to upload.

But oh well, I do have an HD PVR...I just need to get a computer hooked up next to my ps3/tv

I'm getting the hang of the DVR - did you know there's a control setting where you can determine the playback speed with individual presses of the D-pad? Makes it a lot easier to get those slow motion shots, rather than using the pressure-sensitive buttons.

At first I thought I had another one where I killed myself with a tomahawk (bouncing it off a wall directly in front of me), but it turns out I was tomahawked by a guy behind me at that same moment.
