WOW! Now that was a total piece of crap ending and the worst I have ever seen in a videogame. Someone said that the Killzone 3 ending was the worst since Halo 2, well this one takes the cake over both those games.Comment

the online will be good when/if they get it working right. There's tons of copies on ebay pushing the value down to like $30, so maybe the largest preordered game in THQ's history overwhelmed them and the crowd will settle down to numbers they can actually support.
However, the most disappointing thing was the SP. THQ hyped it out the *** in all their marketing campaigns and it was the face of the game. It's just a bland mediocre story that's been done better before.Last edited by bkfount; 03-21-2011, 10:47 PM.Comment

Tonight was really bad for me as well as trying to find a game,normally I don't have this problem at all.
I was able to get into Bighoffs game earlier,but ended up getting "disconnected from the servers"...of which I ran into this alot also....when you DO get into a match however,thisgame is a total blast.
I usually play Battle Commander TDM,and since they have been doing all this server garbage,it seems harder and harder to get into a match.

info on the update status
The Homefront Team has been working around the clock identifying and fixing issues surrounding Multiplayer functionality. We want to give everyone an update on what issues are known, how we are working on them, and when you can expect to see fixes available for download.
Important Notes:
- Xbox 360: The Homefront team is finishing up our first Critical Title Update that will address the Profile Corruption issue (also known as the ‘Freeze’ bug), as this is our highest priority. We are also including a fix for multiplayer connectivity and ping time issues, where players are being sent to distant server locations at the expense of performance. We expect this update to be submitted to Microsoft really soon and we will be working with them very closely to get this approved and deployed as quickly as possible.
- PlayStation 3: We are also working on several multiplayer connectivity and freeze issues on this platform as well. Many Homefront issues occur equally across all consoles but the PlayStation 3 Comprehensive Patch will be sent to SONY as soon as the issues are resolved.
- PC: The PC patching process is a much more “real-time” situation, given they do not need to go through any kind of certification process and fixes are being made and delivered as soon as they are resolved.
Homefront Update Plans
1. Update 1: Xbox 360 Critical Title Update
- Scheduled for Microsoft Submission in the next day or two
- Fixing the Xbox Live Profile Corruption ‘Freeze’ Issue
- Fix for players being matched in distant server locations
2. Update 2: Additional Game Issues Fixes
- Playstation 3 Update will release as soon as fixes are ready.
- Xbox 360 will submit as soon as Update 1 is released live.
- Fixes include:
o Multiplayer Freezing (affecting X360 & PS3)
o Experience and Statistics Resets (affecting X360 & PS3)
o Improving Party Matchmaking & Joining with Friends (affecting X360 & PS3)
o Fixing the Beacon Error (affecting X360 only)
o Correcting inconsistent Leaderboards data (affecting X360 & PS3)

I do appreciate them working on things, and I still have the game and plan on playing tonight, but I get so frustrated seeing "Critical Title Update." For the first patch on the game to be critical tells me this game must have been rushed out or they just didn't have the man power to test things.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

The sad thing is, this thing was alpha and beta tested for awhile, also was stress tested for over a month.
I've not had any connection issues since day 1, but seeing so many people having issues tells me that there are numerous issues at work.Comment

I can't get into a freakin' MP match...AT ALL. GD "Beacon Error" over and over again. I'm at wits end with this game.Go Cavs, Go Browns, Go Tribe! Cleveland Rocks!

Still haven't had any problems except joining a game as a party. Other than the game has been pretty flawless, except for a few issues day one, but that was expected.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
