I was thinking of getting this game, but will the guns have recoil? That is the big question for me.

Does anyone know how long the single player will be? I'm not paying $60 for a 4-5 hour story.

It's going to be short.

This was made for multiplayer. The multiplayer is very good on it, if you've played Frontlines you will have an idea of what it feels like.

I don't care how long the story is, I am so intrigued by it that I want to play thru it to see the story unfold.

This was made for multiplayer. The multiplayer is very good on it, if you've played Frontlines you will have an idea of what it feels like.

I'll definitely pay $60 if the multiplayer is great. I just wish we could get an FPS with a long story for once. They just seem to get shorter.

Yep, which is very disappointing to me. It seems like just when the story is getting interesting in a lot of FPS, it just ends quickly. I don't know why games can't give us a solid 12 hour campaign with good multiplayer features.

I'm on the fence with this one. I'd be getting it primarily for multiplayer. I liked Frontlines, but I don't think Homefront can top Battlefield Bad Co 2. Maybe I should just wait for BF3?

I played it awhile ago. It was very Battlefield-ish. I really enjoyed it, especially the 360 exclusive map (only map I played), since it you could get on rooftops of the houses and run through all the backyards. I'm really excited for it.

Do you have to preorder the 360 version from gamestop or something dumb like that to get this map, or just 360?

And for those of you wanting to wait til BF3...enjoy the next 7 months waiting. I think I'll get a sleeper game and play it.

No, it's just a 360 exclusive map, every 360 version gets it.

Gamestop gives you 2 gun unlocks, Best Buy gives you camo colors I believe and a headset. Not sure of any other preorder deals.
