That it does.
They first had lush jungles and water to show off new graphics tech, then did the snow better than anyone in the biz as the graphical effect, now I can not wait to see what they do with sand.

To continue with this tangent, the desert seems to be the only place for Uncharted to go. With all of the globe-trotting that happened in the second one, I'd be hard pressed to find a biome that went untouched by the game. I'm pretty sure desert is the only one.Comment

Zerzura (Although this would also be in the desert, you could craft a really interesting story around it)
Agartha (This would be interesting, although it would have to be different from the old hollow earth stuff, you could still do a large underground ancient civilization to explore.)
You could also do larger European cities, maybe tie them to the likes of DaVinci or Archimedes.Comment

Cool ideas. I had to look some of those names up. I'm sure there would be some good treasures with ancient Incan and Myan civilizations too.
But according to wikipedia, Agartha is the same myth as Shambhala, which is what Uncharted 2 revolved around. Is there a difference between the two?

Basically it's just a name and myth some stuck in the Agartha myth to give a work of fiction some semblance of historical basis. The Shmabhala in Uncharted was a different Shambhala than the one used in the Agartha myth. Some also stuck the Garden of Eden in Agartha.Comment
