The beauty of Skyrim is at the early levels you have basic knowledge of all skills and access to almost all weapon types and armor types and basic spell types. This allows you to play with the various styles early in the game without committing to any specific style. Once you've learned what you like to use and what style you start leaning towards naturally and how you want to go about tackling various obstacles you can then continue specializing your character more. Experimenting in the early game (as long as you don't waste perks) will not hamper your character long term at all.
Levels 1-10 come by so fast that's it's hard to shoot your character in the foot early. You can save the perks till you really know which direction you want to take the game. Like I said as long as you don't wastefully spend skill perks on stupid stuff you'll be able to mold your character how ever you want.
There are people on here that did multiple resarts of the early game and find fun in just playing with multiple styles. Hopefully they settled on one at some point and explore the game more.
