I know this may sound corny but the map that came with the game is "SWEET". I am in such awe that I might buy a frame and put it in. I know WHO CARES!!!!

Gonna read my manual now as I think I am missing things of importance. I can tell this game is made by the same co. that makes New Vegas thats for sure. Quick note being a "Graphics Whore" I'm not impressed at all by the graphics and it could be because I haven't yet got into the open world to roam as I please.

Actually, New Vegas was made by Obsidian, but they were using the game engine and basis laid by Bethesda on Fallout 3.

Flight, this isn't directed toward you, but since you brought it up ...

If you truly are a "Graphics Whore" chances are you won't see anything in Skyrim that will knock your socks off, but it's the total visual package that makes the game so impressive. Sure, some of the textures aren't great. But take a hike up the into the mountains and look around during a snow storm. Or wait until you head into one of the quest dungeons and check out the lighting as a generic looking cave opens up into something much, much more.

And don't forget, everything in Skyrim is "real" -- every point on the map you can travel to, every object you encounter you can pick up or interact with. To include that amount of detail in a world as vast as this is, without sacrificing a steady frame rate, is an impressive feat. It's kind of like not seeing the forest for the trees.

But hey, that's just my opinion. If graphics are your only concern, I hear Modern Warfare 3 looks pretty good...just sayin.

Fallout: NV was not made by Bethesda, Bethesda starting making this right after Fallout 3. The terrible, buggy, horrible game that was Fallout: NV was made by a company that doesn't care that they make a game that crashes a lot (NV ***** here).

And if you're such a graphics whore that you don't think these graphics are all that great... how could you play in the grand staleness that is Fallout: NV?
