    Re: Mass Effect 3

This was the last I heard:

Q:What can fans expect from the Extended Cut DLC?

A:For fans who want more closure in Mass Effect 3, the DLC will offer extended scenes that provide additional context and deeper insight to the conclusion of Commander Shepard’s journey.

Q:Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?

A:No. BioWare strongly believes in the team’s artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned.

Q:What is BioWare adding to the ending with the Extended Cut DLC?

A:BioWare will expanding on the ending to Mass Effect 3 by creating additional cinematics and epilogue scenes to the existing ending sequences. The goal of these new scenes is to provide additional clarity and closure to Mass Effect 3.

Q:When will the Extended Cut DLC be available?

A:Currently the Extended Cut DLC is planned for this summer, no specific date has been announced at this point.

Q:Why are you releasing the Extended Cut DLC?

A:Though we remain committed and are proud of the artistic choices we made in the main game, we are aware that there are some fans who would like more closure to Mass Effect 3. The goal of the DLC is not to provide a new ending to the game, rather to offer fans additional context and answers to the end of Commander Shepard’s story.

Q:Will there be more Mass Effect 3 DLC?

A:More content is being planned and we will release information at a later date.

Me too, although it will not ship for a week or 2. Looks like I have time to finish ME2.

Thinking about getting the full trilogy on the computer but EA is being stupid with their desire to improve by basically making it exclusive for Origin right? I wish it was all on Steam. I'm slowly losing desire to play my console games compared to the pc gaming option.

If I had a decent computer, I would do something similar.

I never got to play ME1, but I've seen how the story went. From what I hear, it had some of the better RPG elements, so wouldn't mind giving it a go.

ME1 was $5 on Amazon a couple weeks ago. I'm sure it will be on sale again.

I played the first two on the 360. Fortunately due to the save converter I was able to convert all my 360 saves to PC without worries. Got the 3rd on the PC and absolutely love the graphical difference. Took a couple hours to getting used to playing the game with mouse/keyboard on the HDTV but now it's like normal. Not sure why Bioware doesn't support controllers on their PC games.

Either way, I plan on doing a full Mass Effect run (1-3) on the PC soon. Probably after this new ending DLC comes out.

I use Xpadder and it works great so far with ME1.....my only issue is the camera sometimes can spazz out. Other than that, it's worked out pretty well.

I thought about it but I'm used to the mouse/keyboard combo so I said forget about. Plus the mouse/keyboard do have some advantages.

I never played ME1 but just picked it up. I'm going to start a 1-3 run using a femShepard. Always used the male before. Does anyone know if the dialouge is different with the fem or is it just the different voice?

                        Sometimes... definitely worth it though.

I do agree about the M/K having advantages for sure + menu navigation is easier.

Yep but for Insane mode a controller is a must. At least for me.

for me, mouse + keyboard is much better. more hotkeys available for one. my mouse has 6 programable buttons(not counting the normal left/right click) which I normally set-up so I can use powers with them(mine and/or teammate's powers).

The only time I use a controller for the PC is when there are quick time events and button mashing. Mashing on the keyboard feels downright awkward for me....
