I played Heavy Rain. Didn't think it would be considered GOTY by some....

I need to play ME2, b/c I do not get how RDR doesn't unanimously win GoTY. When that game came out, almost half our Madden league (ACQB) went out and got RDR so we could posse up online.

IMO
RDR>ME2

However they are both OUTSTANDING games and both should deserve the title this year.

I can definitely agree with the 360 selections, specifically ME2 and NBA2K11. Those are the two best games I've played this year.

I see your gamer card lists Resonance of Fate, trob. How is it? I picked up a copy for the PS3 but I haven't quite got around to it yet as I picked up a whole lot of other games as well.

I was never overly impressed with RDR. It was the same old Grand Theft Auto wrapped up in a new package. The package was a significant improvement, but like GTA games have done for a while it just got repetitive after a few hours.

For me, Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption quite easily stand out as the top two games. I liked ME2 more, but RDR was outstanding as well.
