I bought a few games in 2007 that I haven't played yet either lol. I have a big backlog of games, unfortunately.

I'm pretty sure that the sale will end technically on the 11th. Tomorrow at 1ET the last sale will start.

The last sale day is usually just one last chance to pick up all the games that were on sale. I don't know if they'll have anything new.

Tempted to get Duke Nukem and Portal 2 - especially the latter because I loved the original so much but with summer holidays coming up and not having a ton of time on my hands I'll probably just wait until XMas for them. Good deals today though.

I've been tempted to get it the last 3 times it was on sale but they announced F1 2011 so soon afterwards I didn't bother. I rented it on the 360 and enjoyed it though. However some of the more hardcore F1 folks noticed some sort of major problem when the game was first released,I'm not sure if it's been patched or not.

                      This was intresting...

Cthulhu Saves the World: 6 days on Steam outsells 18 months on 360’s Indie Games channel

Indie developer Zeboyd, who recently released its RPGs Cthulhu Saves the World and Breath of Death on PC, says Steam has proven to be a vastly more effective platform than Xbox Live Indie Games. The titles, which have been available on Microsoft's service for some time, launched July 13 on Valve's platform, immediately surpassing the devs' expectations by rocketing up sales charts. Less than a week after launch, Zeboyd said Steam has already been more lucrative than 18 months on XBLIG – and it's giving away art and soundtracks to celebrate.

Zeboyd suggested in March that Microsoft's platform was far too easy to exploit, with one developer encouraging players to up-vote its titles even if they didn't own an Xbox 360 – and players taking it upon themselves to downvote rivals' games, such as those by Zeboyd. In contrast, the Steam success of the two titles “has been downright staggering,” says Zeboyd's Robert Boyd. “Zeboyd Games has already made more revenue in less than a week on Steam than we have in over a year and a half on the XBox Live Indie Games service,” effused Boyd this week.

There are a base of steam users that just seem to collect games. Some of these people have like 200 games or more on their game list. It is crazy. You read on the forums where people have backlogs of like 60 or 70 games to play.

I an one of those. I have over a 100 and haven't played many of them. I will always have them though and will eventually get to all of them.

I don't think anybody is collecting...its just that those 10-15 packs that they sell during the holidays adds up! When did Steam start doing this pack thing? 2 years ago? Thats when i went and bought all those packs! lol

THQ, Telltale, Relic....goodness...all quality games to! Current count of games 308!

Besides the indie scene is much stronger on Steam than on XBL so im not surprised that Cthulhu Saves the World sold very well.

Plus, those two games (Cthulhu Saves the World/Breath of Death VII) were packaged together for $2.99. Really makes an impulse buy easy.

I thought they were $1 each on XBL?
