re: Splinter Cell Trilogy (PS3)
got into the splinter cell very late...bought conviction and it was one of my all time favorites although some stealth mechanics coulda been improved. The one before that was bad ( 1st next-gen offering....forget the title). Never playued the 1st 3 classics....and would lovwe to try them on the ps3. Will they feature better graphics ?? that would be key for me.....just dont have the time to play ps2 games anymore....Comment

re: Splinter Cell Trilogy (PS3)
I played & beat all 3 of these in their original format & loved it. Though I probably wont buy this. I did see in the same article about Prince of Persia Trilogy & Tomb Raider Trilogy. I will be getting these 2 for sure."In a year that has been so improbable, the impossible has happened." - Vin Scully

re: Splinter Cell Trilogy (PS3)
I can't wait for this trilogy as long as its the xbox versions and not the PS2 ones. I still wonder if Ubisoft will bite the bullet and release Conviction on the PS3.Comment

re: Splinter Cell Trilogy (PS3)
Ill take the ps2 versions over nothing. We're still getting updated HD graphics and trophy support, so I can handle a few other shortcomings... especially since I never played any of them after the first anyway.Comment

re: Splinter Cell Trilogy (PS3)
I wish they would add in a HD upgrade of Double Agent. I thought that the PS2/Xbox versions were better/deeper than the next gen game. The cool thing was that it was the same story told in a different way. Some major plot points were different and locations were changed, it was very cool.Comment

re: Splinter Cell Trilogy (PS3)
Has there been any word on this lately?
Can't wait to get it regardless, since I don't think I gave the first 3 games a fair shot back when I had an original Xbox.
EDIT: Nevermind. Looks like it's coming out March 22nd.Last edited by BlueNGold; 03-04-2011, 11:44 PM.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

- Re-mastered in HD quality: Gameplay, Cinematic, Maps, Menus, Loading screens, and more are visually enhanced.
- Social Networking Components: Supports online leaderboard and achievements / trophies system to help foster an online community aspect for the original games.
- HD and 3D: Stereoscopy view is integrated into each game to use with 3D-enabled televisions.
- Smoother Gameplay: All games will run in spotless frame rate of sixty frames per second, which allows for more fluid game control and an overall heightened Splinter Cell experience. 30 FPS in 3D view.
