Very different approach to this series. Sometimes change can be good, but not sure what to think with the new Gaiden.

Ouch... a 3.0? Looks like other sites are giving this somewhere in the 7-8 range... so that review might need to be taken with a grain of salt.

The rental place didn't even have the DOA 5 demos in their boxes.

I'm a big Ninja Gaiden fan so i could care less about the review. I actually think the review is upsurd cause it's definitely not a 3.0 game.

WTF did they do!!!!!! It's become a boring arena brawler. I decided to play on Hard from the get go and i'll admit i thought i was a veteran at the other games but this one feels sort of cheap. Not that the enemies are necessarily smart, but just that there are a bunch of them.

The first one on Xbox had a perfect balance of combat and exploration. 65% combat 35% exploration and puzzles. Ninja Gaiden 2 went more 89% combat and 11% exploration, 3 has taken it to 100% combat and no puzzles and exploration :-(

The more I play this game the more upset i am that the A.I is just plain terrible. If i could, I would punch the head director in the face. WTF is with the unblock-able grabs and the not being able to block or roll out of a combo.

I'm on day 4 and the fighting the Mask guy again just easily shows off the game's inconsistencies and faults. 80% of the time he grabs you and his grabs take 80% of your health. Then we have those freaking mutants. They were very easy at first, but half way through the level their A.I becomes ridiculously hard and unbearable.

However with all of that said, the game is still extremely visceral and the combat once you have it down is freaking still awesome. Fighting regular enemies just reinforces that.

I just don't know what Team Ninja was thinking here, they have good combat but they destroyed the game with bland environments, terrible A.I and terrible amounts of enemies.
