Halo. I'm not a multiplayer kind of guys so maybe that's why.

Bioshock. Decent story, but the actual gameplay wasn't that great.

GTA IV. Missions were too similar. Story started off interesting, but really faded near the end. Ending was terrible and felt rushed. Not a bad game by any means but didn't deserve the hype.

I kinda figure that you just hate any game you can't mod the crap out of. Most of your posts in the Fallout NV thread trashed the console version.

I loved FO3. Never got tired of it. I loved feeling scared and lost in the early levels when every fight was scarier than hell. Liked it much better than Vegas.

Call of Duty is easily #1 overrated. Next up, Metal Gear series. After that to finish my top 3, Oblivion.

I thought that about Oblivion until recently. But I gave it another go and really got into it. I even like the leveling system now which I despised before.

Most overrated for me is probably Assassin's Creed 1 - tired and couldn't get into this game at all.

Uncharted 2. Not that it wasn't visually amazing, but I played it a little and just got bored. I guess it's just not my type of game.

Bioshock, most definitely. Underwater city overrun with weirdo enemies, harvesting zombified little girls, strange powerups, backstory told by picking up audio recordings......why is this game popular? Assassin's Creed 1 was so boring I refuse to pick up any of the follow ups no matter how improved they are. Last but not least has gotta be that Transformers war for cybertron! Seriously, besides the voice acting, this was just another by-the-numbers 3rd person shooter with ho-hum level design and a what felt like a tacked-on multiplayer mode. The single game that made me start to question IGN's reviews. (they scored it a 9!!!)

Anything that has its base in the PC: Battlefield, Half-Life, Left for Dead. I can't shake the feeling that they're shoehorned onto a console. They just feel ... foreign to me. It's weird.

BioShock 2: Loved the first, got bored with the second about an hour in.

Uncharted 2: I got about 30 minutes away from the end, and I just couldn't do it anymore. It never hooked me and I ended up going through the motions until I got sick of climbing ****.

Resistance 2: Didn't love the first, but gave this a chance. Nothing special, just another FPS.

It seems as I get older I have a harder time keeping my attention to non-sports games. Giving ME2 a chance now, which is a real departure for me. We shall see.

Mine. Elemental: War of Magic, the biggest waste of time and money for me. IT was touted to be a better version of Master of Magic, but heck... it was boring, ugly and had a lot of bugs in it. In fact, Stardock has released millions of patches since its release. I've given up on it.

Final Fantasy XIII... why do I get the feeling I've played all of these before, only with better controls?

BLOPs. Definitely not Modern Warfare, despite claims by Activision.

Heh - I'm the opposite. 90% of gaming used to be sports with an odd Final Fantasy or whatever thrown in, and now I'm almost completely off sports games. I was always a huge franchise gamer and I find there isn't enough to keep me hooked in franchise sports gaming anymore.

Yeah, I'm the exact same way...I used to do nothing but sports games, but in the past few years I've drifted away to the point where I'm really not playing anything new in the sports world (still rocking College Hoops 2k8 and last year's Pro Evo) and have gone to almost exclusively non-sports games. Furthermore, there isn't even anything that interests me all that much, except for NBA2k11, that I see this changing anytime soon. The sports gaming landscape right now just seems a bit staid and sterile....I do have Madden 10 (got it as a gift from a well-meaning individual...so I didn't break my ban), and have tooled around w/ online franchise with my friends, but to be honest I have absolutely no interest in playing that game offline solo. No interest whatsoever.

I think I can pinpoint the exact moment the drifting away from the sports game genre occurred....but I won't bring that up here, since there's an entire forum devoted to that singular event...

My choice would be Resistance.... the online was fun a while but I just got completely tired of the game after about a week, which is rare with me and any first person shooter lol.

Batman: Arkham Asylum - I'm 60% through this game. I keep lying to myself that I'm enjoying it, but around the 40% mark, it started to become a chore. It's been a week since I've played it and now I'm not sure I'll ever get back to it. I can't really pinpoint what the problem is, either.

Alan Wake - My anticipation and excitement were very high for this game. I'd been keeping tabs on it for over a year. I got through it, but wow, was it a chore. I got tired of running endlessly through the woods by the second level.

I think it's because it's most repetitive. you play one game and you've played them all... it's just a matter of who has the best control going on.
