Anyone know if the dead silence perk doesn't work anymore?

I have noticed recently when I run around the enemy hears me loud and clear. Meanwhile I have dead silence pro. Its driving me crazy why this is happening.

Any body know why?

Actually I've been having issues with Sitrep, I can't hear anyone's footsteps while I have it equipped, and I can't hear mine as if I have Dead Silence on.

I play a lot of HC SnD, I play HC KC and I'll play KC and TDM on core. I play other game modes but those are the main ones.

Actually I've been having issues with Sitrep, I can't hear anyone's footsteps while I have it equipped, and I can't hear mine as if I have Dead Silence on.

Did this start for you with the last title update which happened a couple of weeks ago?

It's because if a player has Sitrep Pro they will hear enemy Footsteps x4 times louder, and they will even hear players that have Dead Silence on. (not with x4 magnitude but they definitely hear them)

I don't believe any other CoD has made Dead Silence footsteps able to be heard, even with a perk like Sitrep.

I will double check if they have site rep as their perk, but I dont think this is always the case.

Decided to bring this thread back up instead of clogging up the black ops 2 thread for those of us who put black ops 2 down and started playing this again. I've had some really good games since I started playing again. This game just feels like there's less BS at the moment compared to black ops 2. Hopefully down the line black ops 2 can get the problems situated.

Decided to bring this thread back up instead of clogging up the black ops 2 thread for those of us who put black ops 2 down and started playing this again. I feel the same way about less BS....I have yet to encounter anything that I would call BS...if I lose a gunfight,it was because I was late on the trigger,simple as that.

Exactly and that's the way it should be.

I also noticed when I started playing again and I have double xp for 2 hours? That was a nice surprise.

I know a lot of people didn't like the original maps but I actually don't have a problem with any of them. My favorites being village and mission. If I had to pick a least favorite it would be downturn. It just feels so hard to see anything on that map.

I ran a few matches of domination last night. Definitely felt different than BOs 2. Will run some more tomorrow.

After finally switching back to MW3 from all the nonsense bs in Ops II, my rage terror is over with lol. Honestly, it makes the stuff that happens in MW3 very tolerable that used to kind of irk me in a way.

OMG this is crazy.

I remember me being in here the first week when MW3 dropped and I hated the maps lol. Now I love them .

I actually played some Black ops 2 today just to give it more of a chance, but the game is just not for me. I do much better rolling by myself in that game then running with a party, but it just doesn't do it for me.

All my boys are running on Black ops 2 and when I join the party to chat with them all I hear is them bitching about the game, and I keep telling them to stop playing it and roll in some MW3 with me. I just dont get it all because the game is the latest installment doesn't mean you have to play it.

I have a much better appreciation for MW3 since the release of Black Ops 2, I guess Im not alone with that

Anyways MW3 is more up my alley than blk ops 2 , so if anyone here is rolling on MW3 on the XBOX hit me up.

Had another good night of gaming,played with Battleborn till he had to go and wash his hair again
But seriously...I cannot believe how much better this runs compared to BLOPS 2.

I had planned on getting the DLC for it (BLOPS 2) but considering the state of the game in it's current stage,there's no WAY,I'm spending my points on it.

Battleborn and myself were talking in the lobby,and we were wondering about the DLC for this...maybe picking up map pack 4? my big fear is that not enough folks still play the DLC maps for it to be worth it though.

The reason I say map pack 4,is I've read that it's the best one out of the DLC,with #3 coming in second...hopefully somebody here with those packs can chime in and give the skinny.

Oh yea....so far the best thing about this game? NO TARGET FINDER.....
