If the maps aren't as big as they should be. I'm sure in the months to come they will release bigger maps. Because fans will request them. They will release DLC every month for the next 9 months. Hopefully will get some old MW2 maps within those 9 months. Aleast some bigger maps of some kind.

what will this DLC consist of? if its just new MP and Spec Ops maps im gonna need to scrape up more cash for Elite

I'm going to buy a digital copy on Tuesday, since I don't want EA's privacy invader called Origin on my computer. It sucks that EA had a somewhat bs ripoff of Steam that gives EA access to all your stuff, totally ruined my drive for BF3.

Some people said there might be extra weapons that will come with this DLC aswell. But mainly what I know it will be maps for MP and Spec ops. But the Weapons are still a ? mark right now.

Ok so I'm not sure how true this guys' claims are but there's a guy in the CoD YouTube community, (not going to say his name but if you watch his videos you'll probably know) that has stated the Snipers in MW3 are by far the most effective weapons.. when combined with Quickdraw.

He pretty much said they were about 1 step below being Overpowered, and that because of how friendly the aim assist is, combined with how fast you can bring up your Scope with Quickdraw and fire an on-point Sniper shot, that Sniping is ridiculously easy... and that Snipers will a lot of times beat Assault Rifles, and SMGs in even medium encounters. Even he as an average Sniper in previous games was able to do very well Sniping.

For those who have put some time into Multiplayer in this game already; Is this true? Did they really make Sniping this easy? and are you finding yourself losing gunfights as an AR, SMG guy to Snipers often?

This is most likely going to be the 1st year I am not pulling the trigger on this game; unfortunate.

I have too many games sitting around (GREAT games in fact) that I want to finish, rank up, (etc) before I go about buying another game.

Just not gonna put more $$ in something that will most likely collect dust...these 4 games will have me busy (especially Skyrim) until "The Show '12 drops in March.

I'm gonna hold off on Elite until the first map pack is released. By then I should have a general feel of where I'm at as far as getting burned out on the game.

That's not sniping though...I'd like to know if it's more of an option to snipe for real in this game. Find a good spot with long sightlines, hold your breath over long distance targets, and hear that lovely 'ping' sound and move on.

It's a concern for me because he made it sound like even your Grandmother could pick up a controller, pick a class with a Powerful Sniper and Quickdraw on it and proceed to start Quickscoping, and getting montage clips. Simply because the Snipers don't have any Sway, and your shots line up exactly where your cursor is even after quickly whipping your scope up. As if Quick-scoping wasn't already easy enough in Mw2.

I hope it isn't as easy as that, I have a feeling he was overstating things.. but if I'm constantly dying to quickscopers, after getting a solid few shots on them with my Assault Rifle or SMG that will definitely be frustrating.

Man I'm still excited for this game, but I'm having more concerns going into this game than any previous Call of Duty title... I even felt more Comfortable buying BF3 than I am with this, and I'm not a BF fan. This game, MW3 can turn out to either be an extremely awesome game.. or a severe letdown.

I have a feeling that is just an exaggeration, at least I hope.

A damn sniper should never win in a close quarters gunfight lol.

If it is true, let's hope it's quickly patched.

There's no sway for sniper rifles.....?

Not confirmed since I haven't played the game, but that's the way this guy made it sound like in the video. Basically if it's anything like Mw2, with Sleight of Hand Pro you'll be able to instantly bring up your Scope and get that Quickscope effect with Quickdraw just the same.

I will definitely be testing this out as soon as I get the game, and I hope running around with a Sniper is not as easy as he made it sound.. but if it is I'll just have to deal with it, heck I dealt with it in Mw2.

I don't remember snipers being THAT bad in MW2 to the point where they were dominating the game. Sure, they were annoying but it only accounted for a small percentage of my deaths.
