I go into my profile preferences and lower chat volume to zero. This way they don't come through my TV or headset.

I just ahve to remember to turn it back up when i meet up with friends.

That is a fantastic idea. Why didn't I think of that?

How do you send out Clan invites on elite? I am trying to invite my friends to join, but it only shows 1 of the guys on my friends list. I'm doing this from my computer..is this why?

Especially about the part where PC users won't have to pay a fee. This can get ugly.

Let me tell you by doing this it makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. I hear absolutely nothing but the game. I can focus so much better, and not loose my cool at all due to the public bitching and being a$$holes.

It change the game for me a ton.

I'm on 360 but I was on the Elite site on my computer I was on the clan screen earlier I could see all my friends on my list when I clicked on the invite friends tab.

They used to always be UAVs. Not anymore.

Yeah, care packages are pretty good. You'll still get the occasional UAV, but no more ammo or counter-uav. It's a good reward. The risk is that someone will pick it up. I don't think it's too bad since, though it's never too bad, it's fairly rare to get a really good haul. I mostly get IMS, Predators, and Sentry Guns, with the occasional Airstrike. Every once in a while, I'll get a helicopter or reaper, but I haven't gotten any Chopper Gunners, only 1 AC-130 and 2 Juggernauts.

I've gotten about 20 packages and haven't gotten a UAV yet. I get a lot of Predator missiles though

I'm not much of a FPS guy at all, but have played both MW2 and now MW3. I must say, I don't recall being this bad! I had a K/D of about 1.8 on MW2. This time around, I'm lucky to be at .75. It just seems like the game doesn't really favor my playing style. Everytime I think I got the beat on a guy, he seems to be get kill instead of me.

I think the biggest issue I'm having is that I can't differentiate between a lot of the maps. Aside from Arkadan and maybe Dome, I just can't recall the features or layouts of many of the maps.

Also, I WISH that when you were looking for a game it took more into account your ranking... I wish I could get into like a noobs only match. Seems like everytime I'm going up against some 13 year old kid who has played the game for 50+ hrs... Hardly seems fair.

I just started using Overkill with an ACR and a sniper rifle. It's a nice mid/long class

How does the reaper work exactly? I shot missiles but they always miss their target.

^ You guide them yourself the entire time. It is like a plane full of predator missiles. The red circle moves wherever you want until the missile lands.

I've been using the Juggernaut Recon in almost all of my matches, I've changed the pace of objective matches with it. It's an awesome reward in the right hands.

I use the Support killstreaks most of the time.

Usually I go with UAV or Advanced UAV -> Stealth Bomber -> EMP or Escort Airdrop.

Most of my care packages have been Sentry Guns.

I was going through the samething. I felt I left off first but the opponent seem to get me, and I felt it was a delay on my end. I read about turning off theater mode to help with your bandwidth, so I gave it a shot. I have to say it has turned things around for me bigitme. See if that helps.

You can disable theater mode in your multiplayer options.
