At this point the only thing that really separates players in this game is the connection.

What I reccommend some of you guys do is go into match making alone. The game seems to match you up better when your solo rather than with a party.

it is just my feeling on this from my experience.

When Im in a party with my boys. I struggle to get those close battle kills. I may go 8-5 or 15 14. On my screen the opponent just appeared but then I go down with 1 bullet, and I felt I truly saw him first and pulled my trigger first. The results say other, and so does the kill cam. It shows me just standing there for a esay kill.

Then I go on my own , and the total opposite happens. I easily gain 20 to 30 kills with single digit deaths. I'm all over the place mowing them down.

What I have come to realize is for me to perform my best I need to travel alone , and when I play with my buddies I need to camp more because I lag behind those with a better connection.

May people are having that issue, it was in Black Ops too. I believe it has to do with ports in internet connections. There are a few videos on YouTube on how to fix or help connection issues, but right now it's probably the worst thing about this game. Following it would be the dumb spawns...

Port forwarding and a DMZ fixes the lag issues. Anyone else try this?

Edit: Just went 36-1 with an osprey gunner. I'd say it's working ok since I never got this close with this game. Starting to feel like Black Ops rollin' time again!

HAHA great stuff...I think Team Defender is pretty much dominated by the OS faithful. I don't think we lost a match!

It might not even be your connection that's the problem. There's been some talk on Youtube, CoD forums, that IW put sort of a "Lag Compensation" system into the MW3 multiplayer Net Coding. That adds a Millisecond delay to your Hit registration, map location based on how good your Ping is. To try and even out the connections.

If this is true however (I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere) then it is only screwing those with Better connections, and they need to go back to how it was before. I do think there might be some truth to this, as I have a fairly stable connection and I am experiencing some pretty questionable deaths.

Interesting if it is true, and the online experience differs from what I went through with MW2 and Black ops.

All I can do is find a lobby that is good for me and ride it for as long as I can. Thanks for this bit of info.

That was a nice run. My best game I had 16 assists. I want 20.

I had no idea that Gun Game was included on the private match list. They need to make that ranked, as well as Sharpshooter.
