I have upped my K/D ratio to .88 from .59 when the game first dropped. I just have to eliminate the games where I start of 0-4, 0-5 etc. It's tough for me to comeback from that sometimes.

Also, I don't see how some of you can easily full off these 25, 30 kill games. I usually have my "spots" on a map where I can get 5 kills here and move to the next spot. It seems the best players are right in the middle of the action getting kills, but that's how I find myself 3-14 when the match is over.

All about map knowledge really. Stick to the outsides, know the spawns, and pay attention to your mini map. If you see your triangle is alone and your teammates are on the opposite side of the map chances are the enemy team is spawning somewhere near your.

Haha, this is pretty much me right now too. Being my first COD game, I started off with a KD ratio of .40ish with a low of .38 but have gotten it up to .82 now. For the life of me, I cannot get into the middle of the action because, like you said, I would get murdered if I do. My gameplan involves just going around the perimeter, finding alternate routes, and getting to some of my "spots" to get kills. By doing this I can hover around a 1.00 ratio with around 9-10 kills a game. Of course I do have occasional games where I go 30-7 or 17-1 (with the help of pointstreaks), but this is more the exception than the norm.

After you kill about 3 people go backwards because they usually spawn close behind you. Rinse an repeat.

So I have prestige unlocked. Which gun should I carry over? No sense in carrying over the SCAR since it's unlocked at LVL 6.

Was thinking PP90 but without Steady Aim (LVL 30) I don't know how good it would be. Maybe AK47?

I carried the ak over, but I've been using the scar again. The pp90 unlocks at 29, which really isn't that long. I kept my stinger so I could keep shooting down uav's.

MP7 if you roll with a sub, ACR if you need an AR. Of the later unlocks, these are the best choices, IMHO. Obviously, lower unlocks like the Type 95 are quite deadly,but may not be worth the token.

I prestiged tonight. I decided to carry over the Assassin perk.

I mastered and got 500+ kills with the M4, ACR, and G36C. I also mastered the 44 magnum and the Five Seven.

I think I'll try and level up with the UMP45 but I have much more success using Assault Rifles. In previous COD games I was able to do well with a variety of weapon types, but not in MW3 yet.

Team Defender is becoming my favorite mode. That was one of the most hectic kitchen/living rooms ever. Marino had the Jugg/Shield suit on and was bashing everyone in the head.

That was an amazing comeback, because we were getting hammered at the beginning of the match. Jval, got the initial big flag killer kill to start to swing the match. Good times.

I know everyone hates certain maps on any MP games, but I've never got a point where I will back out when that map gets voted for. But I've just reached that point with Carbon. It's the worst CoD map in history in my opinion, it beats Wasteland, Wet Work etc. IMO.
