Did someone say the BB GCU for $30 will be here next week? I want to get COD as my game $39 or higher, but they said it cant be a preorder.

I want this Best Buy Gamer Unlocked card but there is not any games I want right now that I don't already own. Does anyone know if there are any problems just returning the game to a different store since this is a special deal?

People at slickdeals are getting BestBuy to price match walmart.com Madden 15 XB1 for $39.99. They then trade to game back to bestbuy for $38 (plus 10% for GCU).
So you will have a gift card for $41.80 for a future purchase and 2 years of GCU for $30.

Random question. I purchased a game early from a mom and pop shop as we all go searching for before release date. I do not know how they ring games up when they do it that way, if I try to trade it in will there be any problems of it coming up stolen since they do fingerprints and all stuff now?

Edit: I missed where he said "different store"....why not return it to the same best buy? Seems like the easiest option.

I'm on the same boat. I want GCU but nothing I want to buy at the moment. Especially considering between November 4th- 18th I'll be buying 3 games.

The GCU deal is contingent on buying a game, not a DVD or some other item...so if you buy the game and then attempt to return it then you're trying to "game the system" and can be considered fraud...

It's a very fine line in similar cases where it's just being frugal vs. being fraud.

The key phrase you are missing is...That I don't already own.

I have NBA 2K and Fifa. The only things recently are Alien which I have no interest in and Sunset overdrive, which looks stupid as hell. MAYBE, The Evil Within might be worth purchasing but I'm not really into those types of games.

I get the whole "buy a game, get promotion"...buy since when is buying anything, not opening it then returning it fraud? If BB let's you return the game at a later date, gives you credit, then you use that to buy another product from their store you're not "gaming the system".

Now if they refuse you because of the promotion it came with it, that is what it is and good for them for looking out for themselves. But if they take the return, give you a GC, and a week later you use the gift card at THEIR store, I'm not sure how that's not legit.
