Yep. They are eating MS' lunch and with the PS3 still selling in the mid 200 range new I wouldn't expect to pick up the console for $350 at this point. A bigger hard drive for $400 would be nice.

I'm not sure having basically a 3 mil lead in the US as "eating their lunch". I'm betting after this holiday that gap will be significantly less.

Tons of people haven't played GTA or TLOU or they want to play them again on a new system.
The other bundle is very family friendly. LEGO games sell like hot cakes and LBP is widely popular.
I know this is a sports gaming site but sports game sales have been rapidly declining. Just look at Madden sales the past five years.

For some reason Sony sees no need to sell their newest console sub 350 bucks. Not sure how happy people who buy the new MS system as a media player and find out it has a sub par movie player will be. I thought most everyone who had access to a Sony console that had any interest in sand box games would have already played GTA and TLOU. Did Little Big Planet outsell The Show or NBA 2k?

LBP2? No doubt about it. Probably combined.

Well since LBP & MLB the show are sony exclusive I listed nba 2k for only sony and a combined total

                LBP2 sold 3.2 million units
MLB 14 the show sold 0.73 million units
NBA 2k14 sold 2.87 million units (sony only) and 5.72 million across all platforms ( ps3-ps4-xb360-xb1)

So NBA 2k 14 and MLB 14: The Show combined sold 3.6 million.

Like I said, "probably combined". So LBP2 sold 400k less than both combined. Impressive.

Combine LBP with a new LEGO game and you have a much more appealing bundle to many more people than a sports bundle.

I think dude was just saying he wished there was a sports bundle.... not sure anyone was arguing which would sell better.

That is impressive. I played a little of the first Little Big Planet and it ain't no Mario 64. Like I said I am not in the demographic these people are making games for anymore. Given a choice I would take the GTA TLOU bundle. Better than paying 400 and getting no games.

Anyone know if the 50% trade-in at best buy just started today, and if so how long it'll last? I already missed my chance on $40 for Shadows of Mordor. ..don't want to lose any more $$

Why do you say that? Does the PS4 even support DLNA or direct MKV files yet? I'll admit the MS media player is (functional) but a little bare bones, but Plex on XB1 is awesome and I've already retired my XMBC box.

Don't you have to download an app to watch a Blu Ray?
