Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
Seriously I've been trying to figure that out myself. I have the regular edition and I don't see a differenceComment

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
You can record anything that plays through the Hauppauge. So if you have it connected to your cable box, you can record what ever you watching on cable, connect it to your blu ray or dvd player, you can record that too and Nextflix, Crackle, HBO Go, etc via the console.
I know some people that got a couple TB portable HDDs filled up with movies and tv shows.Comment

Green light instead of blue light at the top and it comes with a universal console adapter component cord. That is the only major difference, other then them changing the name of the program that you edit with, still the same program just a different name now.

Mine just arrived today so Saturday I'll hook it up and play around with Vegas.Joshua:

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
2gb of RAM
1GHZ processor
Keep in mind, that would take all damn day with those specs. But your average store bought quad or duo core laptop with 3GB of RAM or more you could edit a 1GB file in about a few hours.
Now if you have a med range or high end graphics card, that would cut the rendering time by a TON.
So rendering isn't really a problem. It is the uploading that is a problem if you have slow upload ISP speed. Because even after rendering, file sizes be around 700mb to 900mb for like 1 hour of HD game play.
The longer the time, the bigger the file. Luckily my ISP speed is pretty good, around 6mb upload speed.Comment

Mines has that too...
All I see different is the green light versus blue light and the black on top...nothing else....
And my program does the same, they have the same recording software. But I guess changing the color to Xbox Green, makes it sell...lol
still same recording quality..

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
Yeah it will fly on that laptop. IMO the Hauppauge should be a lot cheaper then what it is, since it has been around for years now. But hey it is still cheaper then and more user friendly then the Black Magic.Comment
