That's what I've read. There's going to be 5 episodes and you'd have to pay for all of them.
So basically it'll be a $50 game without the packaging.

From what I seen, the story breaks off into a new bunch of characters. What I heard on IGN, the only character from the comics is Glenn for the 1st episode and he goes off to catch up with Ricks' group. I like that they didn't just try to retell the same story and decided to use new characters.

I read the comments on IGN and people were saying they don't think this game will be good. I don't care what they say, I think it looks pretty darn good! It might not be a game for the masses but I'm getting it day 1. I love the walking dead and this should hold me over until the new season!

My problem with the game is pretty much a interactive DVD. Doesn't mean the game sucks, but I'm going to pass.

I like to have full control of my game. I'm not into having to navigate something on the screen to look for a icon to light up, then press it so the story can move on.

games like these dont actually last a week for me. most of them dont have replay value.
i think this one's pretty much interactive but if it lets me make multipe choices creating different story outcomes then i guess it would work pretty ok for at least a month.

It does have that, if you visit www.gametrailers.com you can see a few videos on the game, and one of the developers explains how decisions change the game.

They show multiple choice decisions you have to make and how the characters respond to you by what and how you answer.
