Gog.com where you can get your old school needs

I remember not beating the last guy because my party was to low level...he would take two swings at me and that was the end of it...

I remember I had both but never beat the second one because Diablo 2 owned my life at the time... lol

        Re: Baldur's Gate 2

Baldur's Gate 2 to me is the definitive rpg game still to this day. Love doing a 2 custom characters. So much strategy and depth to the game.

My last play through, I created two toons a barbarian and an archer, and then had korgan (the evil dwarf fighter), Viconia (drow cleric), Jan (thief Illusionist), and Minsc (Fighter/Ranger) as my other party members. Jan and Edwin basically made me a little over powered as they made enemy spellcasters fodder for my frontline of fighters to chop down with little effort.

Dragon fights in the game are pretty fun if you don't exploit them. You need to really gear up to take them on. Lots of side quests, stronghold quests, interesting storyline as well.

        Fun times.

If you aren't bothered by the old school graphics then it is a must play. For me, only Ultima VII and Planescape Torment are better, but that's like saying that Kareem and Russell are better than Wilt. You can make a case for any of them and easily put forth a compelling argument.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
