i picked up the signature edition from gamestop today, which includes the download of the game's soundtrack. I entered the code and it downloaded fine and all, but i noticed there's only 17 tracks in the download and its even labeled as "Vol. 1"...this game has 80 tracks in total. Anyone know if we are suppose to get all 80, or is this more of a sampler type deal?

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
LOL, with Skyrim coming out last week, I have a feeling not many will buy this game until Black Friday. Oh well this is one hell of a game.
Just a ton of stuff you can do outside of the main story mission and side quests. I literally just love making bombs and messing with the guards. Which I must say there is dozens of types of bombs you can make.
They really went all out with this feature. You have explode on contact, sticky bombs, fuse bombs, trip wire, small radius explosion, medium radius explosion, large radius explosion, smoke, stink, noise, damage.....Man the possibilities are endless with what you can make.
All of them come in handy too because there are a hell of a lot of guards in this game. I mean literally every where on the roof tops and patrolling the streets. Heavily armed too.
Why:
SpoilerThe templars even have their own assassins roaming the city hunting you down. Every once in a while they will come up from behind and try to stab you in the back. So you constantly have to look behind you.
The hook blade is just totally awesome. Parachutes are totally awesome as well. Just remember though parachutes are one time usage, so eventually you will have to buy some more from the tailor shop.
Building up your assassins army is a must in this game. Way too many enemies around everywhere in this game to do things by yourself. Especially when it comes to trying to take down templar dens. Because unlike the last game where they just pretty much just patrolled around the tower, this game, they patrol the whole damn district the tower is in.
As soon as you walk into their territory, all the guards start staring at you and eventually start chasing you. They do a pretty good job of keeping up with you too and chase you for a long time.
One more thing, you REALLY have to make sure your templar awareness level is very low. If it is 100% they will start attacking your dens. Even at 25% it makes moving around very hard because every time you are spotted they will attack you.
Another thing I like about your recruits in this game is that you can actually train them up to a master assassin. You can even assign them to be den captains.
So far I would give this game a 9. Every feature in this game is well fleshed out and actually serves a purpose. And for those who have a 3DTV, this game is in 3D as well.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Definitely worth getting. Very solid AAA game. With all the gadgets you have, this game reminds me of Hitman Blood Money. Since you can stage bombs to make it look like an accident.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Another minor question, I didn't like AC1, where you had to continually be in the machine, those types of scenes. Didn't like it at all... the in game action was pretty good, but that portion was terrible IMO.
I skipped out on 2 because of it... will I be lost, and is it the same premise?Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
If you liked the others you'll like this. If you didn't then you won't.
The Desmond missions and tower defense bring it down a bit for being so awful but the core of the game is still just as good as it's been. The gun guys seem a bit cheap but other that's not enough to make it awful or anything. The hook blade makes climbing more efficient and there's a few random missions that pop up as you're walking through the city but I don't think those are substantial enough to convince someone that didn't like it to like it now.
If you skipped 2 & Brotherhood you'll be lost. Not sure what you mean by continually be in the machine. I think there's a recap video somewhere though...here it is: http://kotaku.com/5859404/get-caught...d-story-so-far That wasn't overly informative though. Left out quite a lot.Last edited by goh; 11-16-2011, 05:46 PM.Comment

Ezio:
SpoilerSings in this game in memory seq 4. The stuff he be saying while he is singing is funny. I also like at the beginning of the mission you have to knock out all the singing lute players. Ezio says I'm going to enjoy this.
Also trip wire bomb, is just plain totally the most awesome looking thing ever.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
I love this game. With all the new additons (hookblade, bombs, etc.), it just makes it that much funner. And for once they're enemies that you actually gotta battle with, and cant just counter kill, makes it a little more chellenging (especially when you got a whole group around you lol).Comment
