Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
SpoilerTruth is, this game is really a very, very long epilogue. Nothing of note happens that matches fighting Borgia with the apple in ACII(which is still the best game IMO), the final Those That Came Before conversation thing was full of empty prose and basically amounted to..."We screwed up". Playing as old Altair was nice though, but really, I'm glad I didn't buy this game. The bomb mechanics was nice, but I rarely used 'em like talking about save for the impact cherry bombs you get from the jump. I like either fighting or purely stealthing it out, I don't do evasion, so caltrops or whatever wasn't my bag.
Den defense was something of a punishment more than an interesting mechanic, which is kinda what it is, but there's not much you can do when capturing one den automatically raises your awareness to full red and those officials were scarce unless they only spawn in certain areas of the map, but then, I never used the map cuz I like going guerrilla.
Was fun to beat up some minstrels though and hearing Ezio sing was hilarious.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Okay, so I'm playing the story mode when my cousin sends me an xbox live party invite. It was a game/party invite, he was playing MW3, me, Revelations. I accidentally selected accept game and party invite, when all of the sudden the story mode completely cuts out. (I was buying a new sword, just finished act 4) Like I said, the game cuts out after the party screen closed and takes me to the multiplayer screen. Every single time I select return to main menu it goes to it, glitches out and sends me right back to the multiplayer menu. Anyone else had this problem? I've tried turning the 360 off, and everything else that's came to mind. No idea what's going on. I was staring to really get into the story and have been playing it like crazy. Thought it was a great pickup for $35 at Best Buy on black Friday. Any help would be great.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
You might have a corrupt save file. Because everytime you buy something, the game autosaves right there. Being you left during the process, it might have corrupted that save spot.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
I enjoyed this game as much as the others. The story was shorter but there was still a lot to do outside the story. Capodoccia was like an assassin's dream. It was so fun getting around via the rooftops since they were laid out with a lot of ways to get around quickly. Constantinople was difficult to get from point A to point B without hitting the ground.
I didn't like the endingSpoilerHow they left Ezio's story unfinishedSpoilerIt tells Ezio's story after the game.
Overall I put 17 hours into the game. I still had some stuff I could've done (collect about 40 more animus fragments, buy about 8 more landmarks, complete the guild challenges) but I did most of the side missions.
Brotherhood took me 31 hours to complete pretty much everything there was to do.Comment

I'm playing through brotherhood and at the end, my save file seems to have corrupted. The game locks up when I try to load my save file any suggestions?Comment
