    Simpson's Hit and Run Impressions

Got the game today but have been down with a fever so I only played it for a while. There are 7 levels 2 with Homer, 2 with Bart, 1 with Lisa, 1 with Marge and 1 with Apu. Each level has 7-8 missions and so far I have done 4 with Homer (the first level). So far the missions are pretty easy but varied. You even get a platform type level on the 4th mission and there was one where you use the plow king to destroy Smithers car before he gets to the Power Plant. You collect the coins by hitting things and they are found around the houses. These buy alternate costumes for a character or buy vehicles like the Plow King. Lots of extra missions and objectives in each level like races and you have to destroy the bumblebees.

Only complaint with the Xbox version is the controls are not customizable and you use (B) to sprint and (X) to jump. I would have preferred it to be the opposite.

Definitely a must get for Simpson's fans. With all the extras in the game you will spend a ton of time trying to collect everything.

IT seems fun and well done, I agree any Simpson fan should get it.

Good game. I am still on Homer trying to get 100% with him before I move on to Bart. I was able to purchase two vehicles from Gill, who is located right across the street from Barny( where you bought the Plow King). I am still working on one card, a couple of wasps, along with gags. Does anyone have a clear explanation of what a gag is?

Re: Simpson\'s Hit and Run Impressions

I am really liking this game so far! While Springfield is not as detailed a city as Liberty City or Vice City - it has a great deal of atmosphere and numerous references to specific Simpson's episodes.

The thing that really stands out about this game though is the fact that they used the real character voices for nearly 50 different Simpson's characters. This is really impressive, gives the game great atmosphere, and makes it fun to go and explore freely to find all of the various gags and extras.

                            This game is a definite rental - and - if you like the Simpson's - it's practically a must-buy...
