Videogame controller on a PC?

Does anyone know how to use a Dualshock2 or Xbox controller on a PC via USB? I've heard it mentioned before and was curious to see if it's possible.

I have seen it done but never researched it on the cost.

Something that might be easier and the controller is $19.99 is the new Logitech Dual controller which just came out this month.

Thanks guys I think i'll go with the Logitech for $19.99, looks like the better of the two and I can walk into my local Best Buy.
