A friend said the co-op online was pointless since you can't use your character in other peoples game, WTF is this true? Doesnt this make online coop pointless???

That is what I have read, but can't confirm from experience. Apparently the host is the only one who is saved in the coop experience...dumb!

I am enjoying it. They infused the game with a simple story, but I find that adds an extra layer of enjoyment for me. When I played Sacred 2 they didn't even really bother and I got bored after a while.

The co-op does stink and they didn't put a lot into new loot after a certain point. It almost feels like they dumbed down the dungeon crawler a bit (less skills, etc.) to appeal to a bigger crowd...which is ironic since many so-called casual players wouldn't touch a game like this unless it was a bunch of mini games or a farm sim.

However, I have been having fun. I restarted with Luc because the gun wielding character just wasn't cutting it. I like playing as the sword and having Anjelic as a distance attacking fire goddess.

After playing the demo and then seeing the retail release, it really sucked having the COOP camera swing as wildly as it does and how it is nearly completely overhead instead of an angle like the other games in it's Genre.

Dungeon Hunter Alliance on PSN is a better game than this. It might not have all the extra graphical flares, but it does the Diablo clone amazingly well. If you guys haven't checked it out, please do. There's a demo for it.

I found Dungeon Hunter to be even more bland then some of you may consider Dungeon Siege 3.

I've been enjoying Dungeon Siege, not the greatest action rpg but you can't compare every game to Diablo or a Dragon Age,etc. I played the first two though on PC so I feel the need to play this one lol

I would tell you, but unfortunately I didn't even make it past the part of the game covered by the demo before shipping it back to Gamefly.

I have spent some more time with the game and like it. It is not great for co-op and quite frankly the loot satisfaction is so-so. However, for a lengthy dungeon crawler I like it. The story will not win any awards, but at least it helps create an interesting reason to keep going forward.

I really like the game and the combat is more interesting than just clicking away. I'm on PC and the graphics look great, not so on the 360. I'm playing with a controller and it controls fine. The story is okay and gives reasons for the fighting which is a good thing.
You do get a AI partner who is pretty good, I was rescued once while playing which was cool.
