This last image looks like a Chimera totally decked out with armor. I hope Insomniac didn't make a mistake here with this game and worse is that they go from a cool name "Overstrike" to "Fuse".

Insomniac's Fuse is Different by Design

In light of the outpour of fan feedback following the trailer in September, the team went back in to really make the colors pop according to Insomniac CEO Ted Price. “We wanted it to look like a world that could never exist, but one that you would want to visit.”
“You never want to force players to do things a specific way. That's boring. Modern games should be offering solutions that don't boil down to 'A gets slotted into B'.” In other words, having an array of genre-standard weapons allows for encounters that players can tackle organically, rather than being trapped by the drudgery of “enemy X requires that I use special weapon Y.” It keeps the Fuse-based weapons from feeling contrived, and really promotes player agency. Switching between squad members on the fly and applying a wide range of tactics beats playing rock-paper-scissors on autopilot any day.
Each of your four team members have upgrade paths specifically dedicated to certain classes of weapons, making them uniquely suited to maximize their potential. The scope of these upgrades is still being determined according to Price, but when I asked him if there were going to be any ways to get interesting side effects from the non-xenotech weapons, he gave me a long pause, and a “stay tuned.” Not a confirmation by any means, but an indication that there may be more to these guns than meets the eye.

Captured some demo gameplay (3 videos total). Select 720p for the best viewing experience.

this is funny. i was able to be a play-tester for this game about 2 months ago and i played the same areas you see in all 3 of these videos. i wouldnt be shocked if this is video from our session lol.

anyway, i played with 3 other people in co-op story mode and it was actually pretty fun. so i see why they are trying to emphasize that because i dont think the game will be as fun just playing by yourself.

there wasnt enough time for me to understand the upgrades to the guns but shooting felt fine. and as i told the guy the was leading the session, graphically, the game looks pretty bland. we were playing on in 720p and it looked like a title released in 08 or something. it was pretty bad.
"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

                lol

Rawdeal - Totally agree, my videos are just of myself playing. However, I think it could be a lot more fun partnering up with some buddies.
